If Casey does not change his ways for the rest of the season, must fire him. Coaching does matter. Just look at what Woodson is doing for the Knicks compared to D'Antoni's Knicks. The system makes a big difference. We should hire a reputable coach who have winning records, like Stan Van Gundy. Heck, I think even Sam Mitchell can do better than Casey's robotic system.

His rotations are really bad, you HAVE to fire him at this point. He is become a cancer coach.

Either play the kids or trade them, they're doing no good not playing. Alan Anderson and Aaron Gray aren't going to be here next year and Casey better start realizing that.

I'm all for firing him... he's not a good head coach at all.

What we need is an experienced NBA head coach who's had success in the league. I'm tired of trying to bring in rookie head coaches... or guys with little experience. There's no coincidence that our best years came while Lenny Wilkens was our coach.

This team competes most nights, even though they are outmatched in talent. Surely Casey deserves points for that? I mean remember the Triano era? Every other game was a blow out.

when a team loses this many close games, its gotta fall on the coach.

i honestly don't think its a talent issue, how many times have we lost by 20+? Most of our losses have come in the last 5 mins of a game.

I've was in denial for a while because I like the guy. But I am way past that point and sick of losing over bad coaching, questionable rotations, hard ons for experienced vets who are scrubs, and a total lack of developing our future stars. It's like he forgot about JV and would rather watch AA chuck over giving Ross some burn. This guy has got to go.

Casey will just find another journeyman "veteran" that he trusts more than the young guys.

BC took McGuire from Casey, Casey plays Pietrus. BC took Calderon and Davis from Casey, Casey plays Anderson and Gray. If BC takes Anderson and Gray from Casey, Casey will probably play Pietrus and Kleiza again.

What is the problem here? The guys that were brought in to be 15th men by Colangelo not only plays heavy minutes, but some of them started...

And to think, I thought this guy was a good coach, his rotations and man crushes are BAFFLING!

When you CONSISTENTLY lose in close games, thats on the coach as well. It goes both ways.

The close games actually expose him for being terrible.

his play calling is terrible especially after time outs and late game and he cant even get the ball inbounded way too often. it is clear triano was way better at that stuff - shouldve kept him on as a asst coach. casey is not a good coach. more than anything need some size down low that can protect the paint and not let guys like kg catch the ball 2 ft from the hoop

Please fire this dumb ass of a coach. We need a coach with a WINNING record as numbers don't lie.
Season is lost so might as well hire a good coach who can hopefully establish a "winning culture" now and ride it for next season. We aren't going anywhere with this veteran scrub lover. I don't care that BC got Gay, if he doesn't fire Casey then he has to go.

This guy needs to be fired. Kick his ass out of Canada. **** ass coach.

Doesn't understand TIME MANAGEMENT. Using the clock preferably to your advantage.

He doesn't understand his personnel. You don't even let Ross play 5 minutes and JV saw no court time and Ross is better than AA who played almost 30 minutes. JV is better than Gray and Gray got the start.

Casey doesn't understand momentum. The minute it was beginning to swing in the 4th quarter, he did nothing about it until after the lead went from 10- 3. Even after that he didn't get the right guys in to continue to increase it with defense like how they did in the 3rd Q.

I've never seen a head coach who came from a championship winning team (he was the assistant but was important in the championship run) to make such amateurish play calls. #FireCasey

Ultimately I see a fundamental disconnect between the coach and the GM. The coach prefers to slow it down and pound the ball while the GM wants the team to run and share the ball. When we did just that at the beginning of the year the team was 4-18 and the coach publicly said that he was going back to his system.

Can we have a poll? Would be interesting to see just how much of the total pop wants him fired now.

Has Casey ever taken advantage at the end of a quarter to run a two for one? Ever?
