Woelfel: Jennings wanted max last fall (POLL ADDED)

Gery said Jennings wanted the max last fall. That's why a deal didn't get done.

And when he didn't make the all star team last week believed it was because he played in Milwaukee. Small market did him in.

Those frustrations caused him to change agents.

Gery speculates they may deal him. Said Bucks looked at dealing him a month ago. Thinks some in the organization think they could roll with Monta at PG as temporary backstop if needed.

They didn't say temporary PP. He said some said they see him as the PG of the future.

People mocked him a year ago when he said 70 percent chance Bogut dealt.

If the Bucks knew going into the season Jennings wanted max money, he should have been shopped immediately.

They know him better than any other team. There should be no surprises here. He's not a max player or anywhere near one.

Trade him, and if you insist on using Ellis at PG, use next year as an audition. Don't just pay him.

This is why that late September rumor of Jennings, Monta, Udoh for Tony Parker and Splitter always had some legs in my mind. That would be a period when they would be talking contract with the "have it all" brothers. Dump both contractual problems and get a guy in Parker who we know is great and signed to a good contract for another three years.

You know, Hammond hasn't helped himself since he's assisted in creating this monster. There was 1 AS snub this year from our roster and it was Larry Sanders. Instead of throwing organizational support and building a campaign for a truly deserving candidate in Larry, the team just went ahead and dished out the PPG/swag love through the media (tv, Hammond quotes in the JS, etc).

Do you want the Bucks to deal Jennings at the deadline?
