Among the thousands of female middle aged DWTS fans.

I like Driver as much as the next guy, he had a very good Packers career, but I was a little surprised he is getting a street, statue redone, etc. I guess I can understand though since he did do alot for the community and was up to this point a top 4-5 receiver in franchise history.

But I do not think he deserves his name on the honor (which won't happen since no chance he makes NFL Hall of Fame) nor his # retired.

But a very nice ceremony, very good player, came across as a decent enough guy --- at least when the camera was on. So kudos to him on a good career and sure we'll see him in other endeavors.

What did we do for Butler? I feel Butler was just as good of a guy, played all 12 years with the pack and an all-decade player. DD has just been a better showman.

Driver leads the team in all-time receptions and receiving yards. If that isn't deserving of recognition, I don't know what is.

The Ring of Honor is only for Hall of Famers, AFAIK.

He deserves recognition but how much? How many other players have streets? Statue?

Also, what is the street? Donald Drive?

The statue is an already existing statue in the Packers HOF, being redone to have Donald Driver's image. Watching the ceremony I was under the impression that the "street" being named after him is the "street" in front of the statue inside the HOF, not a real road. I think that's the perfect amount of recognition for Donald.

A cool way to honor Butler would be something like a "Lambeau Leap" monument, since he pretty much invented it.
