I wouldn't be surprised if Jordan used some kind of PEDs or any other player for that matter. All the Jordan fanboys have said that Jordan "would do anything to win" and was super competitive. If there was a substance out there that could improve performance wouldn't a super competitive person who would do anything to win take that substance? Its not like Jordan was some kind of choirboy

Yes i know, he only came back for barely half a season. In the off-season of '95 he implemented a new workout regime and weight training that did significantly boost his strength and mass and of course he performed much better the following season.

At the very least it would be hard to believe jordan did not witness a lot of PED use and abuse that was going on in baseball at the time even in the minors.

what it is, is that these young guys on here that never seen him play live get UPSET that he's considered so head and shoulders above players of today (lebron, durant) and they just dont get it....

Kind of pathetic, but I kind of feel where they are coming from... because I was a jordan hater (when he came back from baseball) and he was taking the shine of my fav players at the time (penny, shaq, kemp, hill)...well, I didnt hate him, it was his fans I hated.

You are a pretty shallow thinker. If I was just motivated by hating on Jordan, I would never have said I think my two favorite players of all time used, instead I would have talked about Jordan's well known competitive and vindictive streak makes him a likely dopper and leave it at that.

Going off a nearly 18 year old memory here, so forgive if I am wrong, but if I remember correctly Jordan dropped weight between being eliminated in the '95 NBA Playoffs and the beginning of the 1995/96 season. I seem to recall he worked out like mad that off season to drop some of the bulk he had gained playing baseball and to try to get down to his more natural NBA weight of (at that time) around 215.

He trimmed himself down but put on more muscle:

It was the earliest I have ever seen him start. I used to have to schedule his workouts during spare time away from a golf game. But for the first time, golf took a set back."

By the start of training camp, Jordan's 6-6 frame had been reduced to 216 pounds of muscle with just 4 percent body fat.

I'm not trying to incriminate jordan but i would be shocked if he didn't become very acquainted with PED's during his baseball stint at least. From what i heard they were literally passing them around like candy in the change-rooms back then.

The following scenario has been changed to be less shady and more to the point:

Also, people kept mentioning baseball. He played in AA with a bunch of prospects and had zero power.

Yeah, he did well all things considered (the fact that he hadn't played baseball in forever and was able to hit above .100 is a testament to his abilities as an athlete), but he had NO power in baseball. His game was all speed.

And drug use in athletics is much more impactful to performance, in basketball or skill related sports, you still need to be skilled, talented to fully take advantage of physical trait boosts.

My main point is that drugs in the 80s and 90s were simple compared to today. Today, its not just PEDs etc.. but science and medical process can greatly help performance as shown by Lance Armstrong who manipulated his own blood to get boost to his performance.
