That could be all the Wizards need to do. If Washington came out of this draft with Cody Zeller and C. J. McCollum or Trey Burke, I would be ecstatic.

After selecting a big, I don't think Washington will be able to get either of the elite PGs without trading up for a higher pick, but that is what I hope they do. It would be worth it to trade Booker and Crawford just to get a pick from a team like Phoenix.

I had to grab these quotes off the Nets board this is just awesome:

Yeah, I noticed that too. I was watching him run down the court one time and I was like "wait, that's Blatche? Dude, what happened!?!"

good ol fashion butt whuppin

would have enjoyed being there.

BTW - Eric Snow wasn't that big. Garret Temple appears
to be a legit 6-6. When we play Wall, Temple, Ariza and Singleton
our shots in half court may be horrible, but the other team lives
in constant paranoia about every pass.

Price is in a bit of a funk I think, usually the 2nd unit doesn't look THAT bad, does it? Doesn't help that Beal clearly looked a little rusty, some practice and more burn should help with that though.

I have to buy into this concept that we're an elite D now though, I mean the nets were cold...but the team defense has been amazing. I'm impressed. Randy and the coaching staff deserve props for that.

I also Wall to continue shooting, even if he misses some, if they're given him the shot with the clock running down, ain't no reason not to shoot. I have an irrational feeling that it'll come back to him.

Bucks comin up, opportunity to be only 11.5 games back coming up!

The Wiz were +1 when Price was on the court. For the season, they are +2.1 when he's on the court vs when he's off the court. As far as offensive ability, Garrett Temple makes Price look like Chris Paul. Temple should be getting fewer minutes.

But Temple is part of the defensive pressure you saw so I don't agree. Temple could still have some more upside in him. He hasn't been out there that much and more specifically, he hasn't been out there much with this healthy rosters. i.e Wall starting at PG.

Lets not forget he has shown some flashs of offensively as well.

7-12 just a few games ago for 15 pts
And when he was playing PG he had some nice games. 11 asts was his high.

I'm not saying he is the answer. I'm saying since they chose to use him when Beal when out, they should continue to give him opportunities. I'm not saying totally abandon Price as much as am saying I think there is an opportunity to try other people there. And since they have worked Crawford out of the rotation for the most part, now if the time to try Temple in different rolls. May as well while we are here.

Temple is the kind of player who while he does seem to play with confidence, he isn't going to over do it. He is going to play with in the system and tries to give the coach what he is looking for from him at whatever position he is playing.

Temple is a 6-6 strong guard that plays great defense and can play PG or SG. Forgive me if I'm interested in seeing him continue to get an opportunity to find how he can contribute offensively.

As for next game, I wouldn't change anything. Start him again. If it anent broke, don't fix it.

I saw Shaun Livingston have a steal and a dunk for Cleveland. That said, Garrett Temple has been much better as a Wizard than Livingston was earlier this season. Temple is also just 26. I agree with hands that Temple might still be improving. He is a good role player.

Yeah Temples defense and length have been very useful. That's one reason why our defense has got even better in 2013. Wizards now have a team identity, style of play, and set rotation. This team should be able to make a playoff push next year after we add a lottery pick and trade Jordan Crawford and Booker or Ves.

Mike seems to like her "shirts" and I tend to prefer her "shorts". (Not that she's got anything wrong on top.) I would have recognized her ASSet right away, hrbngr. (Very nice assets, Vida Guerra).

That is the plan I have been posting. I never mentioned Trey Burke but I will look into him. Plans can always be improved.

Zeller, Plumlee, CJ McCollim, Victor and Porter were on my list. If they can keep Trevor A and Webster, Porter is looking less important over other needs since they could early be covered at SF for 3 years.

We have two second round picks and players we could move. Maybe we can get another first with a trade of Booker, Crawford, and picks.

First things first. What will they do or not do at the trade deadline. They don't have to do anything but if the right deal comes along, they can make a tweak to make the team better.

Ideal would seem to be getting a proven solid vet back up PG and drafting a big. But I'm not sure we can resign Webster and get the right vet PG like a JJ Red.

Key to me seems to be getting one of those big tall strong rebounding centers. What to do at back up PG, that is a more fluid situation that probably has many solutions.

Man that was a nice play to watch.

Can't wait to see that be Kevin S or Ves trailing.

Game recap.

Its should not go unnoticed that they are doing much more Nene high screens and way less feeding him on the blocks what was not working and killing both Walls skills and the offense as a whole.

That is one of the big reasons they have looked better on offense.

Mike, you can keep it tasteful, man. I appreciate what you've done and it is the right thing to stay away from NSFW stuff IMO. Keep it classy. Don't let me lead you down the wrong path. :)

I try to stay away from there myself. Operative word is try ... :(

Yeah. Keep it classy. I know I would appreciate it more if you did.

We all have the internet. Its not hard to find more if someone wants.

As for the team.

Is there a player that communicates more what this team is about better then Webster.

Wall is doing a nice job as well.

One thing I have noticed about Wall on the sidelines. He is not satisfied. Even while they were winning nicely, he had a stone cold look on his face. In Walls mind, he is still not happy. He wants a lot more then this. There is no clown in John. His goals are a lot higher then a few wins.

Beal spotting the OKC 50s look.

This is a much more professional team then last year.
