The game plan has to go exactly as lakerRD said, rebounding will be the main key.....especially on the defensive glass. We have to limit them to one and out on a lot of possessions. We could've taken the last game had we got some stops and not let Ray Allen go hero mode. IIRC that was Nash first game back and he was trying to find himself. He has to be aggressive against Chalmers.

ALOT OF THINGS would need to go our way for us to even be in this game let alone win it. Last game on the 7 game road trip doesnt help either. Bet the fellas are ready to get back to L.A.

Exactly. We almost had the game in LA.
Wade and Allen made some really tough shots down the stretch.

I think Nash has come a long way offensively since that game and he will continue to be aggressive. The caveat is that Kobe also needs to be in somewhat of a facilitator role.

I think if we win, this will really help propel the team toward a play-off run.
On the other hand, if we lose, I still think that we'll still definitely be in the play-off picture.

Game plan will be simple. Slow the game down, control the boards and take care of the ball.

IMO this isnt the game for facilitator Kobe. Because unless Kobe is torching their single coverage defense the Heat will refuse to send a 2nd player over for the double team. Kobe's gonna have to operate from the pinch post and hopefully his fall away game is working. If he can get something going towards the rim and paint it will force the defense to suck into the paint for spot up Nash and Meek 3's or even open up Clark and Dwight dives to the rim. What we dont need is Metta out there chuckin a bunch of rush shots cuz thats gonna ignite their fast breaks on us smh. I just really want Metta exert all of his energy on defending Lebron. Just focus on that

No Nash's first game back was against GSW

We'll see tomorrow if he wasnt really in game shape then. Chalmers is an excellent on ball defender. He will test Nash and also i hope our BIGS set solid screens for Nash on the pick n roll. Man thats been a big issue this season. All of them always slip the screen and never hit anyone so Nash can get a step on the man who's defending him

Lakers never do well on TNT and ABC on the road. Need a win just to shut up the haters. Need a win for moral. But going to be hard. Can not fall behind. LBJ will kill the Lakers and Wade is one of the best. Young guards kill the Lakers.

I say Earl Clarks defense on Lebrewski is our x factor.

Meeks will get hot from downtown and Clark will shut down LeBron. Calling it now.

We will win, as it becomes clearer that we are a better team without Pau Gasol.

Funny if you read the article without looking at the current standings, you'll think that Miami is DOMINATING the league.

I disagree. We were playing some of our best ball of the season prior to Pau's fascia tear.

If Dwight can find some additude for once and plays like he's pissed off we'll be a different team. I get he's just not physically healthy to pound teams yet, but this goes back to how you're groomed to play. If he didn't rely so much on athleticism he would be able to play a more methodical game if he had that in his arsenal. Not picking on him because I said all this during the summer. He just needs to hold on to his "touches" if that's what it's about with him, because he can't say he isn't getting them.

His effectiveness with his touches is rather low, it's either a strip, TO, bad pass or fumble of the ball. He has to minimize one of those 4 areas. All that said I like our chances in this game. Even if Bosh plays I'm confident Earl can check him man on man with no help, Miami will have to cross match. They'll have Haslem on Dwight to hide Bosh from foul trouble, while Bosh will check Earl. At least I hope that's how they go.

This could impact the boards severely for the Heat. Clark has just enough range to keep Bosh on the perimeter with him. Meaning Howard should see single coverage in a sense, we all know they have to cheat towards the middle.

Bottom line we need a high double double game from Dwight in order to win this game.
