I said yes simply because it wouldn't surprise me. People think PEDs automatically mean you get swoll. Not necessarily. Jordan was strong and tough. I wouldn't doubt PEDs. It doesn't diminish the player he was though. PEACE.

I say without question that he was. I don't think any sport has been clean for 25 years. I always said that A-Rod, Armstrong, McGwire, Sosa were taking stuff...and now I'm saying that almost all NBA players are, as well as most NFL players....Adrian Peterson just had basically the best season of all time....after being injured. You guys can stay naive, most people, as the votes show, are starting to realize that no oneis clean. Have you seen the nba drug policy? Ya, it's a joke.

Yeah, definitely. I'm not basing this on any allegations or extreme physical transformations, but sure I think he did. Also, I heard some sprinters and baseball players or whatever where taking them then so that's like another point.

It is interesting how jamaica just exploded on the track scene all of a sudden and not just bolt but his whole team as well their women's team.

I think were in the post lance armstrong world though where we literally need to brace ourselves for the possibility that every major sports star may potentially be on PED's today.

Which is why i don't particularly like to single out certain athletes for accusations when i think they're probably all doing it.

Of course Jordan was on PEDs, anyone who doesn't think so is delusional. Most dominant athlete in his sport ever, and he popped up in a generation where we saw Barry Bonds, Mike Tyson and Lance Armstrong? He was 100% on something, no doubt about it.

When you're in a gym 6 days a week, busting your ass 8-12 hours a day and you someone tells you about this PED that will give you a meaningful boost in performance, wouldn't you take it? We're talking about million dollar contracts here. If that's not enough, what if you're told that other players in the league are using it and the odds of being caught are slim to none? Taking the high road here literally proves nothing to anyone, except to yourself. Would you honestly not take this advantage simply to prove something to yourself? Hell no. People get on the MLB so much for its issues with steroids, but I actually respect the MLB more than the NBA or NFL when it comes to handling this issue. The MLB is the only league which has taken measures to remove PEDs from their game. The NBA and NFL are content with brushing the issue under a carpet.

Anything is possible I have to admit, especially after the whole Lance Armstrong ordeal. I would have bet my life the guy would never have used them, with how sincere he was. Anyhow who knows, but why the the spontaneity of this thread?

I live in France where the Tour de France obviously gets a lot of media coverage, and there was not a single person I know who didn't think Armstrong was doping up when he was winning. Everyone knew he was on it, so I have no idea how you could believe he was sincere (although I assume you must be american, which probably means the media didn't cover it in the same way).

As for Jordan, I don't think he ever took Steroids/HGH since he never looked that muscular, but people have to remember that PEDs aren't at all confined to bulking up, and if you think there aren't drugs that can massively help you go through an 82 game season you're being extremely naive (not directed at you doozyj).

I think at least half of the players in almost all of the major sports take PEDs in one form or another. When there's this much money involved and the game is primarily a show, plus the fact that the NBA blatantly doesn't test its players, there's no way in hell the league is mostly clean. That doesn't deter me from watching basketball because I believe it's the same in every sport anyway.

More people need to read this, because I'm sick of reading in this thread, "If Lance did it, any athlete could do it" type of argument. To me, it was obvious Lance was taking PEDs at the time, he did not look sincere at all, and I'm glad that the majority of the people in France also thought this way. So don't go accusing all the great players across all sports of using PEDs because you got fooled by one guy into thinking he didn't, that's simply ridiculous.

I honestly don't think Jordan did. His game remained so consistent throughout the years that I can't really imagine a point in time when he suddenly decided to start using PEDs. He was just that dominant.

PED's don't really benefit basketball players all that much if you're thinking of steroids. You don't need to get all jacked up like Bonds, McGuire and Sosa to play well and to get that big would actually be a detriment to your speed.
Then there are physical signs like heads and jaws getting bigger and temper tantrums like the sort Bonds used to have on occasion. You can't really hide that sort of stuff without someone finding out about it.

PEDs =/= steroids. See: Lance Armstrong, Carl Lewis. There are many things you can do to your body to reduce recovery time and increase endurance.
