Celtics have $1,836,524 in TPE

Willing to take a young bench player on rookie deal if you want to clear cap

Yup, no offense to 77, but this was one of the major reasons I initially declined to participate in this game. When you open it up without post count limits and advertise on the Gen board, the game's quality will suffer.

Damn, something fishy really is going on with NY. Considering I haven't approved the last couple deals he made, I may very well veto those deals that are very clearly one-sided deals. I'll have to look into this, but there's definitely something up here.

Post count has nothing to do with it, you can have 5000 posts and still be a bad gm, I've been an avid basketball fan for 10years and using realgm religiously for 6 years and have under 100 posts

Yeah post count regulations arent the way to go because there are quality gm's witrh low post counts but i think we defenitly need a way to weed out the why22's, danverse's,and youthanasia's that join up only to not make any moves then finally give away there players...takes the fun of the game.

Thats where the difficulty lies in making that judgment. But the thing it helps stop is the dual accounts, like we are seeing here.

I think the Gen board advertisement was the biggest drawback of this one.

*Looks at join date*

Except for the this game and to a lesser extent the last game, we've had a pretty consistent core of posters. lukekarts, RiotPunch, BlackIce, supplyndemand, SamBone, bness, sterncohen, SamBone, MJallday, spree, Kees, moss_is_1 are all guys I've played since I joined a few years ago. And I'm sure I'm forgetting a few.

ZackB23, Roddy B for 3, uzy, kinger95, Bee-Fense, Brovva Blaqq, Winsome Gerbil, Youthanasia, Chalm Down Bro, Tabitha, and keondrunk are all guys I've never played with before this game. And then you've got a few guys who've become stalwarts recently.

I am not going to accuse anyone in particular of having a second account or what have you, but some of these trades being made are just... there's no word for it. Before I took over Denver I was perusing the game time from time, and it seems like some gm's are consistently making horrible deals. DerrickNoah is a heck of a GM and I am sure he just worked his magic like usual, but how NYK can give up Melo for Deng and Reke is beyond my comprehension. And then the Shumpert deal.... #uhhhwhat

Yeah, its much closer to 50/50 this round. Usually its more like 75/25, which simply lessens the chance of anything like this happening.

I don't mind seeing new faces, but I think there are a bit too many this game. No offense.

Maybe GhostX was joking about the dual accounts, maybe he's not, but I'm still arranging for an IP check on these guys to make sure it's not a second account for OKC's. The Shumpert deal did it for me. I didn't think anything of the Melo for Deng/Evans deal, thinking it may be a rookie mistake. Even the Chandler deal struck me a bit odd when I saw it, but that Shumpert deal was over the top IMO. No way would you just gift Shumpert like that. I'm getting someone to IP check this guy.

In the mean time, I'm approving all the deals that have nothing to do with OKC or NY. Those are void.

The Shumpert deal was supposed to be a part of the chandler deal but we couldn't make the salaries/roster spaces work so we split into 2 deals...
