OT: Ticket Sales on Friday

Not sure if this is a legitimate thread or not, but I figured I'd post and see what happens!

Mods are free to lock or relocate as you see fit!

Was just wondering if anyone was going to go out to Toronto on Friday to grab themselves some tickets! Last year's home openers were gone in 45 minutes! I'm planning on going down and trying to grab a golden ticket for myself! Any suggestions on when to be there or how to possibly get my stubby fingers onto the home openers?

Also, I think it'd be cool to see if anyone else was going down!

Why don't you just buy them online 2 days earlier?

yep lol, I live and work within a 5 minute walk of the Rogers centre and the thought of buying them there instead of online didn't even cross my mind.

Sign up for their email list thing on the website (think it's called inside pitch). I believe you have until tomorrow to sign up in order to get an email with the code for the presale on Wednesday.

i signed for this inside pitch thing ahile ago but never got any code in the approval email, did anyone else sign up and get a code?

Now Im confused..I purchased home opener tickets online at I believe ticket city about a month ago. Are you telling me I might not get these tickets because they havent been sold yet?

I have already spent $1800 on plane tickets to get to Toronto for the home opener and I may not have tickets? How are they allowed to sell tickets that havent been sold yet? Am I missing something?

No need to panic yet. It's likely the reseller was selling seats bought with seasons tickets. These are for single game tickets.

Got another email saying the presale was tomorrow, but no code or anything. I'm guessing they'll send an email tomorrow with the code/link?

The @BlueJays Inside Pitch email goes out at 10am ET. There is no password, it will just have a link.

well that was pointless, tried for 2 tickets anywhere literally 2 minutes after the email was sent out and there was nothing
