Nene played 37 minutes. He seems to be out of the funk that he was in during our last losing streak. His last 3 games:

13 points, 10 boards, 6/9 shooting, 28 minutes
20 points, 11 boards, 9/13 shooting, 34 minutes
21 points, 13 boards, 10/13 shooting, 37 minutes

These wins are ho hum for some but not me. I'm thoroughly impressed with the Wizards right now.

That was a really tough game. Quality win. Specially with no Webster to speak of.

They need a little more depth like we have been talking about.

A upgrade to Price would help and a 7-0 center to back up Okafor.

But right now, they are getting it done with enough extra to cover for a player like Webster not having a good game. But if another players was off, they probably would have lost. So its a good start but they can grow this.

I would think so. I would have said Drummond, but he's hurt and Beal seems to be taking over more now. Beal is only 19!

Dion Waiters is having a bit better year but he's what 25? Anthony Davis is better than all of them if he can stay healthy. Or maybe Andre Drummond if he were healthy.

Nene has been on a tear, glad to see him focused.

When its all said and done he just might be the best rookie in this draft class if he keeps improving. So far this season he has been the 2nd best rookie behind Lillard.

Shockingly, Anthony Davis is not the ROY. He probably has been statistically perhaps the most effective, but he hasn't played much.

I think Drummond has been very effective. Lillard as a starter has to be the front runner.

A guy who is scarcely playing looks really good to me. Andrew Nicholson hasn't played much but he is a baller.

Overall, however, based on voting YES Beal probably is second in the draft class right now.

Did you guys hear that bored "dagger..." from Buckhanz?

I thought it was likely he would get banged up his first year. He needs to get stronger.
Solid talent for sure.

Hey, even Beal is getting banged up his first year.

Ummm.....is it too early to say we're actually a good team?

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

Back to this game, the Bucks only scored 90 points in their building.

This Wizard defense is SICK.

Gotta keep this train rolling.

They can be a tough match up for us.

But with the way the boys are focused on wanting to make a statement, I think they have a good chance to get their first 4 game streak after blowing the last one to SAC.

Hopefully Randy doesn't change anything and brings Beal off the bench again. Don't change what is working.

We got us a Buck. Beal was the sharp shooter that got it done.

No, it's not. We are good.

Teams can't score against Washington. Milwaukee only had 19 in the fourth and that is the norm against the Wizards lately.

I wasn't knocking the win or the Wiz -- the opposite, as if to say "no big deal, this is what we do. "

Beal's definitely had a more impressive year than Waiters. Beal started worse, but he's had one consistent period of play (his most recent) that is stronger than any stretch of Waiters' play. And his defense is better. Not to take anything away from Waiters--he's played well this year.

A game where Beal scores 28 with 2 blocks and 2 steals is a game I'm happy with--that's a "real win" for this franchise.

ETA: And Beal is now above Wall on my list of Wizards assets. The guy is the real deal.
