Yup. If they finish the season going 16-16, we only need to 26-6 down the stretch to catch them.

I wonder how many posts there will be about mediocracy, EG must be fired, and these are fake wins there will be?
These wins are ho hum for some but not me. I'm thoroughly impressed with the Wizards right now.
I wasn't knocking the win or the Wiz -- the opposite, as if to say "no big deal, this is what we do. "

This Wizard defense is SICK.

And that's after scoring what, 30 in the first quarter? Pretty outstanding, though the Bucks definitely bricked their fair share of open jumpers.
So nice to have a team that rotates and hustles properly on defense.

You don't go from being compared to Ray Allen to being the worst 3 point shooter ever. Clearly, Beal was a better shooter than he showed the first couple of months of the season.

The Zards have held last 9 opponents to less than 100. Tied for third in franchise history. Can win a lot of games that way. Way to go team!
The Wizards held the Nets to a season-low 32.9 percent shooting and dropped their average points allowed over their past eight games to 87.8. They gave up 96.8 per game in their first 41 contests.

His form is the same, but he just looks more fluid now. You can tell he isn't aiming it, he's getting square, and the game has slowed down....
