He was previously banned

ok, but i dont think he was trolling just then, just calling it like it is. There cant be any kind of discussion among fans? then whats the point of a board?

If I went into the Heat forum and said... "Haha Kobe still has 5 rings to LeBron's 1" would you think I was trolling? Of course you would because it is trolling. As a fan of a different team if you go into different team's forum and start spewing crap like "our best player is better than your best player" it's 100% trolling. It's only being done to piss off the fans of the team in the forum in which you're posting those comments. Stick to the Game Board because you quite likely end up suffering the same fat as 'chillin if you keep posting in here.

Lebron choked in his first two finals. Now he is playing well with a young veteran super team in their 3rd season together comprised of four hof players. Kobe did it without shaq, but can lechoke do it without wade? Doubtful. Scoreboard is Kobe 5, Lebron 1...muahaha!

The only way to beat Miamis defensive scheme is with elite ball movement. They trap, they front the post, they contest shots and they rotate quicker than any other team in the NBA. There's really no other team that can match their athletetisim other than maybe OKC. At the end of games they have the ability to turn up another notch. Bosh may be under utilized on offense but on defense his length is key. Same reason why last year when Bosh was out the Lakers were able to beat Miami. Same reason why Rondo and KG were having a field day over the top of the fronter until Bosh came back.
Howard needs to shut up and play. There's a lot of other ways he can contribute aside from getting the ball on offense. In my opinion Howard was the only other guy aside from LeBron who could win you games on his own. He's lost that ability, he's not healthy, he's not the same and it shows. The Lakers are a mess right now, but history shows that things will get better.

so you're really going to compare having a few good spot up shooters to having shaq, gasol, bynum and dwight? The problem with those cleveland teams were that they could rely on lebron and the mediocre supporting cast to win in the regular season. HOWEVER, in the playoffs, when the effort level is high, when talent trumps everything, those teams just didnt have enough talent to win. And dont give me that **** about cleveland building around lebron, yes those teams were effective, but shaq was a different monster. The dude dominated games and was the best player on the lakers in those first 3 titles. The heat, like cleveland, has surrounded lebron with shooters, except they also got dwyane wade on the team, which ONLY KINDA makes a difference. Also bosh is better than any power forward cleveland ever had.

The point I was making is people disregard those cleveland teams just cuz of the lack of talent. Talent doesn't always work out, just look at the lakers this year. Fit around the players is just as important.

u missed the point again, talent doesnt always work out. Yes, it means u wont necessarily succeed with talent, BUT in the nba, you DEFINITELY wont succeed if u have minimal talent, especially in the playoffs, when the effort level is high

I really enjoyed the game, personally.

That 4 point end of the 3rd (FT + offensive rebound -> 3 pointer) and the kick ball -> to Nash vs. Dwight -> LeBron lay-up and 1 was the difference.

I think we were 2 plays and 1 bad call from winning the game without Gasol and with Dwight playing to avoid injury.

It's encouraging. We have 2 months to get it right while going at least 7-3 every 10 games before the real test starts.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

You guys going to have to just realize that he's not a back to the basket type player, so if you keep looking for that you're going to keep getting disappointed.

+1, people don't realize that this dude is at best average in the post. I was one of the few who always said that Dwight really has no post moves and no back to the basket game. He is at his best rolling to the rim but now he doesn't even set screens and nor does he have the explosiveness he once had. It really is a shame because a guy that athletic could have been so much better. I honestly thought that he was the type to play defense no matter what happens on the offensive end but clearly he thinks he is a beast offensively.

You may have but one thing for sure, myself & Deep3CL sang it from the rooftops in nearly every thread last summer & we got called Bynum lovers & a lot of people even said they couldn't believe for the basketball knowledge we have they couldn't believe what we were saying.

Now that his come to fruition all you hear is crickets

So is this still a thing? Do we still talk about the Heat when we're playing the Suns tonight? Is it still a deal?
