They looked like sleepwalkers to start the game but there was a stretch in the 2nd quarter where i felt like i was watching the Spurs.

Did Wall even shoot a jumper all game?

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

These wins are ho hum for some but not me. I'm thoroughly impressed with the Wizards right now.
I wasn't knocking the win or the Wiz -- the opposite, as if to say "no big deal, this is what we do. "
Sorry, but I thought you were mocking those who are TOO preoccupied with the past to be happy.
It really is what the Wizards do now.
This is the best stretch of winning games since the Wizards went 23-8 and EJ almost coached the all star game.
I'm not going to take the bait, but I will say that it's pretty sad that you're trying to be divisive after a nice win.
Brilliant game from Nene - especially compared to whatever Dalembert was doing out there - what a terrible effort. And great game from Beal - taking advantage of the "defense" that Ellis played. I give Wall a pass on his turnovers - as Milwaukee's guards played strictly for steals and ended up paying for it many times - and Wall played very well except for the turnovers. Gotta give Wittman credit - the Wiz looked like the much better disciplined team.

Closest I think this game was a shot with the clock running out baseline, but it wasn't a jumper as much as a floater.
Brilliant shot selection from Wall this game.

Where were you after other wins when people were being divisive ?
I think CCJs comment is more then fine considering what gets posted around here.

It is pretty sad that you think I am being divisive. I thought my optimism was being dismissed and you were only one of at least 5 or 6 who seemed to be saying bah humbug after wins. You took it as a slight to you but it was directed to a collective who are calling these fake wins. I wasn't being divisive. I truly did wonder what the negative would be after this game.
I posted a lot of positive stuff and on this I don't really need to expound any more.

This Wizard defense is SICK.
And that's after scoring what, 30 in the first quarter? Pretty outstanding, though the Bucks definitely bricked their fair share of open jumpers.
So nice to have a team that rotates and hustles properly on defense.
Amazing defensive performance after the first Q. Only reason the Buck got what they did was the refs giving Monta the whistle anytime he was breathed on, even though he's allowed to grab Wall's hand ona drive to the hoop![]()
I get Wittman sticking with Temple today, but I want to see [Beal?] back with the starters on Wednesday....
I dunno, Garrett Temple starting prevents Jordan Crawford from getting up off the bench. Seems like a formula that's been working of late...

I hope there is no collective. When you group people as positive and negative when people are trying to simply be objective and give their opinions and don't want to be labelled either way, I feel you are being divisive, and I don't care for it - just like I didn't care for when you made fun of my post in another thread today. When you do things like that, you make it uncomfortable for me to participate. And it's a little ironic, because until the last month or so, you've probably been more negative than I've been. Consistency goes a long way, imo.

I wasn't making fun with that poster and I apologize if you took it that way.
It is something someone posted on facebook and it encouraged me. I thought about myself when I read the quote that went, "You can't write the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the past." I posted that for me more than anything else and didn't mean to seem like I was ridiculing your views.
Ruzious, I don't wish to make you uncomfortable. Life is too short. I apologize and I will take a break from responding to your posts. You can put me on ignore. That goes for anyone and everyone here.
If in stating my opinion I have made you feel uncomfortable, the best thing to do would be to ignore all my posts. I put out many thoughts, some change pretty constantly. If that detracts from your experience, I won't be offended if you ignore my posts.
You took a comment I made in general personally and you took a comment about moving forward as derisive--that makes me uncomfortable. It is something I said and I do apologize, but I certainly didn't mean anything offensive toward you.
My idea is I am happy with the Wizards right now. If others want trades right now because it is best to sell high, I respect that but don't feel that way.

All is forgiven. When you made that post in the other thread, you quoted me, so I think you can understand why I thought it was directed at me. Anyway, sorry if I was being over-sensitive.

The irony that Ruz would get prickly because someone was joshing him is rich...
I'd forgive him and figure he's a little salty because his beloved Bucks just got their tails handed to them.

You should hang out in the Bucks forum. The negativity there dwarfs anything you'll see here. And it should be. Fans and players weren't happy with Skiles, but I think we're seeing that without him - the organization is heading into crash mode, and they're going nowhere faster than John Wall can turn the ball over... er faster than John Wall can make a flying dunk.

I knew I was looking forward to Wall and Beal playing together for a reason! These boys can play.
I'm gonna go ahead and erease those first 20 or so games from my memory and pretend like our season started when Wall came back! .....What are we now 3rd? 4th seed?

Its funny how quick the mood changes here. Last week the wiz were coming off a terrible 4 game losing streak with 2 egregious loses against swaggy p and the 6ers and a home loss vs the kings. the only real conclusion we can draw is how little depth this team has. If one of wall, nene, or beal are out the team is 5-32. The wiz are enjoysble to watch when healthy and play great defense, which is refreshing, but this is a flawed team that needs everything working perfectly just to be slightly above average.

This was a game that past wizards teams would have lost. But at full health, or close, it really shouldn't be a huge shock.
MIL was 23rd in offense coming into the game. Given our D, their 1Q output should come as more of a surprise than their final score. And while they were 9th defensively, they were without their defensive anchor -- and perhaps best player -- in Larry Sanders.
Not minimizing the win at all, as there are no bad ones. But this one set up right for us.

Yeah there is no margin for error with injuries. It isn't like the regular rotation guys are stars it is just that they have no replacements.

This comment really does put a damper on things. There is no way this team goes through next year without major injury time taking its toll. We need to have the depth necessary to continue moving forward. But honestly, consistency in approach should take care of a lot of that. Once everyone knows their roles, and the roles they need to fill in the case of injury, they should step up better. We just need a long string of no major injuries for this to happen.
