Hello Pacers fans,
I will be in Indianapolis tomorrow for the Bobcats game. I just have a few questions.
1) Is this game likely to sell out due to the cheap students ticket pricing?
2) What ticketing area would make a good balance of a decent view of the game at a reasonable price? Are the balcony seats good or nosebleed? Or do you have to go to the club or lower levels to get a good view of the game? How much am I looking at shelling out for a decent seat? I would preferably like a mid-ish court view, not behind the baskets.
3) What is the car parking situation like, as I will likely be driving in from a hotel near the Indianapolis airport or can you get a shuttle/train into the fieldhouse?
Thank you so much in advance, as this will be my first live NBA game, we don't have many where I am from.

Re: Tickets for Bobcats game?
no, it probably won't sell out. scalping is legal in Indiana although not on the property itself so you'll find tickets sellers on the other side of every street and alley by the fieldhouse. I like to sit in the end zone on the lower level and that's where my half season tickets are but there are good seats at all levels. the closer to mid-court you insist upon, the higher you will have to be to keep the price reasonable. for several years I had seats in the 2nd row of the upper corner and they were good. a low row in the corner of the upper deck will probably cost the same or less than a nose-bleed seat in the center.
car parking isn't hard. I have always been able to find a place on Delaware St heading north. it's no parking until 6 and the closer to 6 you get there the closer to the fieldhouse you'll be able to park. the meters run until maybe 8 now but they take credit cards and will not charge you more than it takes to buy the number of minutes left until parking is free. the lots near the fieldhouse are expensive but you should find on street parking.
no airport shuttle or train. your hotel may have something though.

Re: Tickets for Bobcats game?
1) A Pacers vs. Bobcats game on a Wednesday will never sell out. I always use StubHub and I can download and print them on my own after they are purchased.
2) I paid $15 dollars for my club level seat against the Bobcats. Good seats. I've sat in the balcony to watch games like the Big Ten Tournament and other Pacers games, and they're just okay. You can still see the action and the jumbo-tron doesn't block your view. BLF is designed very nice in that way.
3) No shuttle or train. There is a garage attached to the stadium, so you don't have to go on the street and walk if you don't want to; there's a tunnel that you walk through from the stadium to the parking garage. $6 for rooftop level, $12 for every other level.
Hope you have fun at your first game.

Yeah stubhub is your best bet. I wanted to upgrade for the Nets last night and got Lower Center Row 11 for $45 each. Bobcats should be real cheap.

Re: Tickets for Bobcats game?
Thank you every body for the replies and advice. FTR we had an awesome night. I managed to pick up some tickets on the club level, section 118 row 2 for $25 plus fees off the pacers website. I think they were season ticket holders that weren't attending or something.
Turns out we got to the game a bit late and were given upgraded court side tickets by the host of the fan radio show 1070 AM I think. If you are reading this thank you so much, we had an awesome time and got to see the home team win, and a George triple double!
The only shame was David West not being active for the game. Good luck for the rest of the season Pacers!
