1st round Out/Karl out?

Post#1 » by pickIBL » Tue Feb 12, 2013 4:20 pm

I see one of two things happening. If we draw a team that just can't keep up/match up we can run them out of the gym and our weaknesses won't be exposed. But on the other side of things if the game slows down we could be in trouble and face a 1st round exit.

If we lose in the 1st does that mean Karl is out of a job? Or does Karl hang on regardless?

There are some candidates out there that are pretty interesting. We need an Xs and Os guy either as the Head Man or the lead assistant.

I remember when the Net's job opened that David Blatt's name came up. I'm not sure you plug him right in as the head guy, but he'd make a great lead assistant and eventual replacement for Karl.

From the college ranks Larry Eustachy has pretty good ties to our ownership with the Nuggets. He'd be fantastic to add to the bench. Had he not had issues with alcoholism he'd be coaching a big time program or be in the pros right now.

If they won't dump Karl can they get a smart guy to sit next to him???

Just get a shooter like JJ Redick and there is a good chance we will make it to the 2nd round and lose

I doubt it but his contract finishes next season and if he doesn't get out of the first round again then surely it will even test the Kroenkes' patience? Especially since there is no lack of talent excuse on the roster.

The Raptor organization will greatly take him off your hands.

Return to Denver Nuggets
