Don't know what happened to him but his jumpshot has betrayed him in the last 3 weeks ....especially his long distance shot(coincidentally or not, since he became more of a distributor)

After starting the season hot from 3 point range he has fallen under 33% now

He has made only 1 3 pointer in the last 14 games and is 1-30 overall in that stretch.....now that's a major slump

He has to find a balance between scoring and passing(Heat game being a good example) ...can't be just one or the other during a game

He did find the balance, but his shot wasn't falling tonight. I would rather be go 1-8 then he force the issue and end up with a 3-20 game or something.

He didn't shoot at all in the first half.....one of those 8 shots was a beyond the half court heave in the 3rd quarter and 2 more shots were end of the shot clock shots

So he had only 5 REAL shots tonight ...that's not balance

He was passing too much, sometimes to the extent of creating a turnover

I rather have a 25/7 Kobe (with 15-17 shots) than a passive Kobe with 10-11 assists but who won't shoot and score
We might get away with teams like this but against the playoff caliber teams,it won't work

Weird game, some very ugly ball but ... 8 of 11. No help from UTA and HOU. Bastards.
PTL lost - so there's that.

Kind of...they are missing being able to dump the ball to Gasol and just generally be able to run the offense through him a bit. The Lakers have to change the game plan a lot between Gasol/Howard. Which they are.

They've been using Kobe in the post mostly with a little bit of Dwight. But despite the close game to a bad team today's game was very encouraging. The chemistry was very good and the Nash/Howard pick and roll was the best it has been all year. It worked several times. Howard was actually rolling hard!

Kobe just had an off game. Too many unforced turnovers.
