If he was a can't miss all-star prospect, sure. But he's not, so he'll stay in school if it's as bad as it looked. Interesting wat to look at it though :D I like how you're thinking though (Wiggins)

How about Bazz now and Wiggins next year?? Solidify our backcourt. I think the front court is set in Nicholson, Harkless, and Vucevic

Maybe Noel will be Marcus Camby after all.

Not a fan of Bazz... at all... unless we're forced to pick him because 4 or 5 other guys are off the board. McLemore or Smart would be they guys I would want for backcourt guys. I would also pick Zeller and Bennett over Shabazz. After that, I would begrudgingly take Shabazz.

McLemore and Wiggins would be tight. We'll have to find a future PG somewhere though.

I wasn't high on Noel, but still really sad to see him suffer this injury. I think him spending one more year in college would be best for him development wise.

I may over-value JJ, but I think you're heavily undervaluing that pick. There is very little that intrigues me outside of the top 6

The media is starting to speculate that Orlando should trade Jameer Nelson to Utah for Mo Williams. Well that might guarantee that the Magic would not win another game this season (and guarentee that the Jazz will make the playoffs). And Williams could train a PG in 2013/14.

If this is a path, then I guess something like Nelson and Smith for WIlliams and Alec Burks makes sense. Perhaps Utah would need to throw in "the Magic have the right trade swap 1st in on of the next three years".

Still, I think the media is just bored, as I could not see GM Hennigan trading Nelson for spare change.

Media doesn't realize that we have a new arena to fill, Nelson fits well in our future rebuilding plan as team captain and leader who actually wants to be here.

How about this trade idea:

Orl:

Trades: JJ Redick and Josh McRoberts
Receives: Larry Sanders, Beno Udrih, and first round pick 2013

Bucks:
Trades: Larry Sanders, Beno Udrih, and first round pick 2013

Milwaukee does not do it. They are not giving up their 1st round and Larry Sanders for JJ. They would do the Beno for Josh swap but not the first.

I dont know about the Noel injury.. but i think its because of him hitting the pedestal of the ring rather than the landing.

Strike while the iron's hot so to speak, sure we can keep him and then trade him in the summer but there are risks to waiting that long. One, what if he gets injured later on in the season and has to have surgery in the summer? sort of kills some of our potential deals. Two, what if we keep him and let him become a FA but he gets priced out of our range? i'm sure we'll talk and come to an understanding before he becomes a FA but when that Dollar Figure comes up that he can't refuse then what? I know it's a lot of "What if's" but honestly anything can happen

Do we match his big deal and get killed by the CBA when the new yearly provisions kick in? Or do we just let him walk and get nothing back for a player so valuable? Man i would hate to be Henny around this time, he has some really tough decisions to make

No deal is better than a bad deal.

I hate to see young players get hurt early in their careers but I think noel is overrated. I called him Marcus camby from day one.

Looked like he hyperextended it on the landing, then may or may not have impacted the very end of the upright. Hopefully it's not a serious injury, but I do notice that he had a pretty hefty brace/support on that knee already.

Did he have previous knee injuries?

Would anyone do this trade:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine/?tradeId=c7ur4pz

76ers would compete for a playoff push with Affalo at the 2, Ayon off the bench...maybe trade
Turk in off season to acquire a lottery pick from Bobcats or Raptors by taking Thomas or Bargnani off their hands.
We do this manly to shed salary since Bynum looks done for the year.

That trade is looking worse and worse for Philly as the days go by. Vuc is already an elite rebounder and could be an allstar in the next years. Hark at 19 already looks at least like a long time rotation player and dynamo defender with semi-allstar potential.

Meanwhile Bynum is bored sitting on the bench in an ugly suit while growing some hideous hair......

When do we get the Philly draft pick?

lulz. Nets don't have a clue. should've kept their pick instead of trading for Wallace. they could at least have Lillard/Drummond as a trade piece right now. or, we could have had Lillard/Drummond right now.

if Kris Humphries can't land you Ben Gordon, then he aint landing you Josh Smith or Paul Millsap.
