I've been to google, they do not have R8s and Ferraris down there. Mostly like Prius and stuff.

Oil company would make most sense but all of them are here in Houston. I'd say law firm.

Or something with music. We know how much these music folk love their cars.

Tech Company... The Acct Management people have all the toys... 99.9% of us lean a little more on the function side of the form/function paradigm...

This is nothing though, when I worked in the Mortgage Industry in Irvine, every 6 figure and up car produced in the last 10 years was represented in the parking lot... It was weirdly desensitizing. You're looking at f355's and Gallardo's as just another Ferrari or Lamborghini... And only really paying attention to the Enzo's or SLR McLaren's...

In retrospect... Not a surprise that that particular bubble burst.

There was an executive that I worked for that literally had a different Ferrari for every day of the week.

They have car sharing clubs for execs, they basically maintain a fleet of luxury cars and the members get to keep one for like 6 months or so.

I live down the street from this guy http://www.jackingram.net/..
He has a Ferrari and Lamborghini or 2...

And this guy lives in the same town. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jesse_James_%28customizer%29

But I've never seen any of his cars.

Ok, not **** you... The guy is back, rubbing it out again...

He's standing back admiring his work.

I think I might get it now... This may be a Valentine's present.

and then theres truly wealthy people that just collect luxury cars for fun.

i worked a job for my dad one time (who is the VP of a valet compnay) for this guy that had a huge garage, bigger than most houses, that was entirely glass encased, full of what must have been at least 50 exotic cars. maserati, lamborghini, ferrari - you name it he probably had it.

I was into the classic car scene in LA when I was there... I got to know the guy who paints a lot of Jay Leno's cars... I talked to Jay once or twice too and he met my wife and Daughter... I was there when they were prepping his Duesenberg for paint... Jay Leno kind of epitomizes that mentality. His car collection is so big, it's a self-sustaining business all it's own.

IDK... Just to be clear though, I'm sitting at my computer working... 8-) Sorta. It's just that he's right out my window by my cube... I can't look at anything else.

Judging from where this guy works, he probably has a LOT of work to do. Relatively important work.

hermes wrote:good to see some pokemon love out there, but i'm not really a big fan of dragonite

lol at just sweeping the ice disadvantage under the rug, its a 4x weakness, i don't care if you can learn flamethrower, what about the water/ice types (lapras?) - not to mention its also weak to rock

and lance was only rolling with 3 dragonites because there were barely any dragon types back then, in more recent games he's only got one

I personally never used dragonite because of his speed, but if you give him a quick claw and teach him thunder, Blizzar, Fireblast (or the weaker ones flamethrower etc), and a dragon move he is unstoppable.

My favorite original Pokemon is Alakazam.

So they found a charred body in the cabin and they have forensics confirming that they are his remains. I hope he is dead. I can finally feel safe for my family thats back home in LA.

This guy did a number on the LAPD hopefully they reasses some things in the department so this doesn't happen again.
