I still think its best to have someone outside the game run FA. Then again, I've always thought that the commish shouldn't have a team, so what do I know...

One night only (subject to change):

Make me an offer for Rondo, may be willing to move him.

I'll contact some GM's about possible talks, if I forget or miss your team feel free to hit me up.

Double post:

Also C Andrew Bogut (who is showing he is nearly back) is too good a guy to be stuck here, he wants to compete and we hope to oblige his request.

Your expirer, non guaranteed, TE, youngster, and pick will get him.

after the mega deal and assuming all trades are approved...

Ricky Rubio / Chauncey Billups
Jason Richardson / Jason Terry / Willie Green
Matt Barnes / Grant Hill / Tobias Harris / Linas Kleiza
Blake Griffin / David West / Trey Thompkins
Ryan Hollins

Need a center, I have $13m in caproom right now. David West / Billups / Terry/ Jrich / Barnes / Hill / Green can be had for teams looking to contend. Someone like Billups I would just want an expiring and cash most likely. Blake / Rubio are really hard to get.

I may be willing to volunteer to do a tier or 2 in FA to help with things if needed. Someone contact me around that time and I'll see if I can help.

I'm starting to write down and analyze trades now to find patterns and trends.

Brooklyn has successfully traded Deron Williams away for;

Jameer Nelson and expirings (in two deals)

That's right, a superstar for a below average PG and expirings.

While still keeping all the bad deals on his team (JJ and Wallace)

Just pointing out what I'm finding.

Well, he traded D-Will for Nelson, West, & Derozan but is now giving away West & Derozan for scraps? WTF?

That was my point. He keeps breaking it down worse and worse.

I agree there has been some sketchy trades this game..By sketchy i mean teams that have a superstar and a couple of bad contracts usually if they trade the superstar would pair at least one of those bad contracts sothey would not have to deal with that burden later on.

But I digress

The Clippers currently look like

CP3 (36)/Crawford (10)/Telfair (2)
Afflalo (28)/Crawford (20)
Pierce (31)/ Batum (17)
KG (20)/Batum (18)/Seraphin (10)
Pekovic (32)/ KG(12)/Seraphin (4)

DNP: Copeland, Birdman, Turiaf

We really really like our team. With the NBA moving more towards small ball (ie yest Raps-Knicks game had Shumpert and Gay starting at the PF position for there respective teams), we feel we could floor an athletic line-up of CP3/Crawford/Pierce/Batum/ and either KG or Pek at times and pose a matching nightmare for certain teams.

Not really looking to make any major moves until after free agency, but if you think you have an offer that can sway my mind offer away.

Btw just because I have Afflalo/Crawford/Batum/Pierce does not mean I will get rid of one of them for nothing. They are all on pretty good contracts, and I like what each of them brings to the table. The hardest of the 4 to obtain would be Batum (so pretty much don’t bother). CP3 remains off limits.

^^

And you guys thinking just cause I (the guy who volunteered to do FA) has been clearing cap on an overpriced team "may covertly do something shady in FA"...

Of course there is much ridiculousness in alot of moves that have been made, this isn't the 1st GMaT or last that it'll happen in BUT at the same time let's not act like every single deal that's proposed is always "fair value" by either party from any GM that participates in these games.

We all likely have wack ass proposals from GM's, just weed out who to deal w/.

One game I had a GM propose a "deal" of Austin Rivers, 1st rd pick, and Elliot Williams for Harden, I responded "Ok" (which obviously wasn't goin' down) but that was my way of responding ridiculously to a ridiculous offer.

Needless to say said GM was pissed.

Anyway let's just keep it moving and have fun.

Peace.

To be fair, Deron Williams' value is probably at an all-time low. He's having his worst season as a pro since his rookie year in the NBA and he just signed a max contract. That's not a very valuable player, especially with the new luxury tax in effect. I was Brooklyn last game, and got lucky that I could squeeze John Wall (who hadn't played yet that season) for him. His value is nowhere near where it was a year or two ago.

Current Roster:
PG - Iman Shumpert/Aaron Brooks
SG - Marcus Thornton/Rodney Stuckey/Lance Stephenson
SF - Luol Deng/Corey Maggette/DeShawn Stevenson
PF - Carl Landry/Jan Vesely
C - Anderson Varejao/Ian Mahinmi/Aaron Gray

I'm fairly happy with my roster and ready to head into free agency with this team. If you have offers though, send them my way: jacob.thilman@gmail.com

And just a note:
For personal reasons, I don't know how often I can check the trade boards. I will try my best to get on as much as possible though. I will try to respond to emails as fast as possible. I don't need a replacement at this point, but if it ever does get to the point where I am completely unable to get on at anytime, I will resign. I hope everyone understands.
