stephen a talking shiz bout us on first take....talks shiz about lin says miracles happen (him having a good game) then talked about parsons like he was trash and sarcastically said "who new york made look like larry bird"

continues to defend mark jackson which i understand especially because apparently they knew each other as kids?? didn't know that

i can understand the lin thing cuz his season has been inconsistent, but dude obviously does not watch the rockets because if he did he would know the white lbj and all his greatness

Stephen A doesn't like white or asian players.

Please no one ever quote Stephen A Smith on this board or anywhere. He and Skip Bayless just troll for reactions. The more attention you give them, the happier they are (as well as ESPN).

I am issuing a board warning to all of you for mentioning anything that SAS says.

Now go feel shame.

I'd put LMA at #1, but good wish list

For me

1. Lamarcus Aldridge
2. Chris Bosh
3. Kevin Love

^ I agree

Bosh is clearly better than LMA, but age is a factor IMO.

This was originally posted in the Clipper's thread, but I backed out cause it wasn't really on topic. The motivation really comes from the need for a big that will protect our players on the court.

I really like Lin. He plays the game the right way, all the time.

He needs a foil on this team.

Royce White is already the most hated player on this team since... Rafer? (Awesome handles, great court vision, tough as nails, can't shoot a lick, absolutely nuts and ready to throw down at a moments notice? The similarities are too numerous) The thing is Rafer had a work ethic which I'm not sure Royce White has garnered yet. But Royce can easily be our Danny Fortson if he wants to be.

Per Morris and Motie, I think eventually they will settle into different positions.

Morris is too small to play the 4 regularly. Motie doesn't really actually want to be type casted a jump shooting big. While Motie and Morris can take turns backing up Patty Pat for now, Morris is going to be Parson's backup most of the time (if he stays with this team) and Motie will probably fight Asik and Patty Pat for 20 minutes a game for the remainder of this season.

With the way that the beat press has been writing about him, Motie is being groomed to be promoted to rotation. This means out of our 8 power forwards/centers, Cole Aldrich is the only stiff. I think he'll be moved during the summer because we want one last big to make the playoff push. TJones and White are waiting in the D-League to be groomed. The rest of the click, Smith/Patty Pat/Morris/Asik are frightfully appealing assets. They are cheap, young and part of a rotation already. I think it's crazy to have 8 players that play the same two positions and 4 of them are already good enough to be in the top 9 of a western conference play off team, with three just right on the outside waiting to come up. We are going to have a monster front line come time by the time Lin and Asik are nearing the final year of their 3 year contracts.

White most hated since Rafer?
I love how your hatred for Kevin Martin like the rest of us is so strong you have forgotten he was even a Rocket.
;)
But yea I agree with on most of that. 2Pat is highly underrated imo, he is younger than the rest off our starters aside from Harden.
He has the 2nd highest PER among starters... which is amazing cause he doesn't care to rebound, and iirc the 2nd highest WS/48.

He is a nice piece and I really don't want any of the quick fixes in Millsap/Smith whatever give rotation minutes to Mook & Motie at the 3 & 4... play Delfino as SG and trade Cole/Douglas both expiring for any draft pick.

maybe it's Lin to the Pelicans for Gordon with a Harden-Gordon Max $$$$ backcourt. Poor Parsons will be so sad. :(

Yea if we trade for Gordon its Lin going...
Trading Parsons would be hard to match salaries
Or Maybe We trade Asik too and keep space for Dwight?

Gordon
Harden
Parsons
:o
not bad

Grevis
Lin
Davis
Aminu

isn't bad either super defensive team

what would the line up be anyways??

harden
gordon
parsons
(assume pat pats gone)
asik

also why would no like a trade of lin + when their pg has outplayed him? the only positions they need to upgrade are positions we wouldn't be willing to trade for him (SF and C)
