yep. pretty much. and that's it...

they can have mo, millsap, bell, murphy and their 1st round pick (the GS one) back:

i'll even be willing to take on humphries' contract if we can throw in marvin:

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Yeah, this is wild. Nets are sitting on a boat load of contracts. They took in a lot of guys like Blatche, Humphries, Evans and Lopez etc. We don't really need any of them, but if were gonna lose Millsap, I would at least like a straight trade for a trade. I mean Humphries might end up being a good bench PF under Favors....

Millsap just has the talent to be a centerpeice on the starter group. If he continue 20-10 on a couple games per week, he is gonna become a hot asset. Especially if Favors starts being better than what Millsap was when he was Favors age.

the only reason i'd be willing to take humphries' contract is if we get dwill back. no way in hell i do a trade around a millsap for humphries lines without a well thought out plan. although humphries' contract is short, he is way overpaid. if deron isn't included, i might consider a millsap for humphries deal if the nets send some good future 1st round picks our way, if they still have some. humphries' deal is expiring after next season, so i can see his contract come in handy either as a cap space cleaner for the jazz or as a salary filler in a trade where he'll expire under another team's salary cap. but do we really want a 12M bench player?

millsap doesn't have the time to put together 20-10 games. the trade deadline is in 6 days or so. and it wouldn't matter anyway - he's a proven commodity after being in the league for 6.5 seasons. teams already knows what they will be getting in him, and a few more 20-10 games will not make them think he is the next charles barkley and a superstar. he is what he is at this point, and everybody knows it.

Nets have nothing that would help the Jazz, that the Nets would be willing to give up for Millsap......

I know it will never happen, but can you imagine a core of Deron-Burks-Hayward-Favors-Kanter tearing it up for 6-7 years?

For what its worth I have a friend who was DWills neighbor and buddy and he told me that Deron misses Utah because he liked raising his kids here because its a lot safer than New York CIty. But I would do a deal center around Hayward, Millsap, Mo, GSW and 2nd round pick for DWIll
Ingles is cooked.

It is unfortunate that DWill didn't realize what he had when he was here. I don't see the Nets trading him.

The Jazz traded Deron, not the other way around.

He was traded because the FO didn't get the assurances they felt they needed for their comfort level and they wanted to avoid the press circus surrounding other teams, like Denver.

That may be true, but Deron was leaving one way or another......

I would like him with the attitude he had on his rookie contract, then he became a prima donna.

Ugh... cannot stand the DWill worship around here. The guy is an injured, egotistical mess that is no longer worth what he is paid.

KOC is a certifiable genius for unloading that a$$wipe.
