How many more years do you see Kobe playing?

Post#1 » by Vlade12 » Fri Feb 15, 2013 6:00 am

I for some reason think he is going to play until the 2015-2016 season and then call it a career. Shame one of his last years like this one, looks like it's going to go down the toilet. 3 more full season and will go out at the 2016 Team USA winning the gold medal, and will be the last time we see Kobe playing competitive basketball

If he averaged 25 the next 3 years he would be around 37,000 points good for 2nd all time. A title or two in a that span and one more USA gold would be legendary for a living legend. Don't know about the title part

One more season. especially if KG decides to call it quits after this season, Kobe will follow after next season. He's also said that this past team USA was his last run in the olympics.

I could see Kobe being talked into it, if coach K is back and he is healthy. He also said winning Gold was the ultimate high. I think it would be awesome to see him play one last time for TEAM USA in a gold medal game as his last game

I see KG coming back one more year with the hope he gets one more fair chance at a title with Rondo coming back.

Other guys hanging in there are Ray Allen 37 , Paul Pierce 35, Vince Carter 36, Manu 35, Jason Terry 35, Tim Duncan 36 still playing at a high level

I would like to a him play like this level he is at for another one or two years. Then play at a slightly lower level like a 19-20 pt per game style but more dishing in the last two or three years. I would thus love to see him play for a total max 5 years retiring at end of 2018.

It would be so surreal and sad the day the lakers open WiTHOUT KOBE on the roster anymore.

My generation of laker fans would throw themselves into nostalgia every chance they will have.
To always remember
How he dazzled us
Mesmerized us
Frustrated us
Frazzled us
Made us debate on and on
Made us defend him till it hurt in the gut and rib
To celebrate the great championship memories
And the memories when we came up short..
But he always went to the end fighting
For the lakers

I'm making myself cry writing this lame ****, dam!!
Kobe Bryant forever
GO LAKERS
8-)
I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.

If we are no closer to a championship at the end of his contract, I think he hangs it up.

If we have a championship squad by then, he'll start signing 2 year contracts.
