Nash just doesn't work on this team, he's going to be a spot-up shooter because he can't break down defenses in the half court.
And Dwight can't dominate in the post.
And our shooters aren't consistent enough to shoot.
This is a team that doesn't make sense, that never did in the first place.
A fair argument can be made that the pieces of our team don' fit well with one another but in my opinion all of our problems could easily be solved with a healthy Dwight. When healthy he can guard the paint by himself but so far this year he's been nowhere near the Dwight we were hoping to see and with Pau out it leaves our team extremely vulnerable against teams with good perimeter shooter because our defenders have to sag down to help Dwight guard the basket.
Speculate all you want about lack of effort or not fully recovered, I'm in the Dwight isn't healthy but doing the best he can camp, from back injury the fact remains Dwight isn't giving us what we need on a nightly basis to give us a chance to win. Dwight used to be able to absolutely dominate anyone near the basket and now he's getting pushed around by anyone and everyone. It's tough to watch because our season depends on him getting right. There's still time but it's looking more and more like it's not going to happen this year.
