Pretty much 95% of all new music is turribull today. So no matter who they got to perform was likely not going to be good.

I'm not sure what's worse: people crapping on Mumford and Sons, wanting Kiss to perform ever (especially now), thinking Phillip Phillips is NASCAR music, or the NBA not knowing their audience for this event.

I've thought of this as well. Why have a crappy celebrity game, usually with a few former players, but no NBA Alumni game? I think that game would be competitive too, because they will try to show that they still got it and would want to go up against their former rivals. Imagine the hype if MJ was in it.
