Are you just doing kickboxing or are you training everything?

Just kickboxing.

As per UG poster:

People tweeting from Trinity College said Dana had a major dizzy spell on stage. Apparently his Meniere's surgery recovery is going pretty slow.

MMA might be legalized through a co-promoter in New York state by the end of the month. Zuffa agreed with a judge's decision that there's a loophole allowing for co-promotion of a MMA event with grandfathered organizations, like WKA.

More to come, but this is huge. UFC apparently booked a date at Madison Square Gardens in November 2013 waaaaay back in 2011 or 2012.

That's awesome news.

BIg MMA shows at the Garden would be amazing.

Helwani has been eluding to them possibly doing Anderson/Jones for the first MSG show,
which would be incredible.

And the whole ban in NY state is a joke, as they have kickboxing and muay thai at MSG every once in a while.

The NY thing really is a microchasm of how messed up the system is.

REDDzone, I saw Scott yesterday at Comprido's and it was awkward when I totally didn't know your real name. I don't think he'd know ya as your username, ha!

Wow. Anderson apparently said he'd make 170 to fight GSP.

Okay that's hilarious. I'll let him know. I'm pumped to see him compete for the first time this weekend. I thought you said you were on a training hiatus as of now?

Its coming from Dana so who knows, but that's awesome if true. I don't like how he calls out smaller fighters, but if he is willing to cut to make it there, I actually would rather him do it than not do it.

In a perfect world, I'd want like 174 or something a little more reasonable. 15 pounds is a lot. That might be the end of his MW career.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

I'd be lying if I didn't say Anderson is really growing on me:

"I'm old, guys," Silva said. "I'm getting old. I'm retired. I'm nearly there. I've only got another five years.

"I think [GSP] would be a great challenge for me. I prefer him over Jon Jones. He's smaller. It'll be a little bit easier. I'll be hit less."

http://www.espn.co.uk/ufc/sport/story/174733.html

The "I've only got another five years" part killed me.

Some more news:

Cyborgette has signed with Invicta, fighting in April.

Ricardo Mayorga is making his MMA debut in April.

And now a heartwarming story about a sponsor going above and beyond:

Saw Sergio Pettis today. Can't believe how small he is. Tough sob though.

I didn't listen to the entire scrum, but I guess Dana was saying yesterday that Nick missed another countdown filming or something (for a total of three missed countdown tapings total lmao). That he is "costing Dana money" by doing this stuff.

Good thing there are 10 top 5 welterweights on this card just in case lol.

The part about bellator is hilarious though. "Do you think Bjork is running bellator?" I can't wait, give it a month and he will be ranting about "Bjork" and "spuketv" everytime we see him.

For the guys on here who like the joe rogan podcast (okay who am I kidding, just cbr and I), mma heavy schedule coming up. Josh Thompson is going to be on soon. He's a pretty interesting cat from the little I know. Seems surprisingly...all there considering how often he gets KOed.

Then the author who wrote all those fighter mind/warrior spirit books. Name is escaping me at the moment. EDIT: I think he may have been on today actually.

Then the big one man, the one everyone has been waiting for. This Thursday, Dana White on Joe Rogan's podcast. Going to be interesting to me to see if Dana can just be chill and chat and not be in promoter mode the entire time. I'm excited, I won't lie.

So yea since its mma heavy, maybe it is of interest to more than jsut cbr and I.
