Loves this episode. I really want Avery to win with this team, I think his approach comes off as confusing from watching this episode. He really sounded all over the place, he didnt take his time calmy to explain things during scrimmages. He comes off too excited but i liked the test he gave out, i wish they took it seriously.

Poor Marshon...he's like the red-head stepchild of this team. Carries rookie bags despite not being a rookie, then he has clutch shot after shot to give the Nets a win against Sac, and what does he get?

"Marshon was good tonight but...." and a bunch of DNPs.

When I watched Avery say that garbage, I was embarrassed for this team.

That's not how you encourage and inspire a player, moron.

proper usage of the word "and" would go a long way, but it's clear that Avery plays favorites like he's some kind of child, so whatever.

playing faovrite or playing guys who defend and have a high bbiq? Marshon isnt a fit on a team that wants to play winning basketball. this isnt an "AND1" tour where making difficult shots is what matters. not turning it over, moving the ball, being in the right spots, not taking poor shots, rotating defensively, not having mental lapses. those things are all things that have an enormous impact on winning....

it also one thing to go iso, when there is an iso play called for you. backing it out and going iso with 15+ seconds on the shot clock when your number isnt called is a different story.

I'm nto saying there isnt a place in the league for him, there just isnt a place on the team for him. he doesnt play our style. he is best in transition and freelancing on offense. he is more suited for a D'antoni type system where shooting early int he clock, getting out in transition are emphasized and defense isnt really a focus

Part 6 was on yesterday...PJ stated that when he was notified by Billy that Avery was being let go, he told Billy prior to speaking w/ him that day at the practice facility, he was going to talk to Avery there before meeting w/ Billy and making a decision...

Great insight from Deron's perspective and how JJ didn't find out until 1pm via friend...Avery was let got around 8am...

Part 7 is going be showing Johnson's return to ATL, etc...

How can they feature Taylor but not Toko on his ridiculous 2-game stint at dleague?

They have a marathon on right now. The episodes filmed before we fired Avery are painful to watch. Still its nice to see just how much we've improved since then.

I wonder how many fans the Nets picked up as a result of viewership of this program and increased exposure.

Unless these people are who have never watched basketball before and this is the first team they've ever seen, I doubt we'd have picked up many fans.

We fired a coach and lost a Game 7 at home in the first round. Very uninspiring lol.
