I don't want him. There's several pg better than him in the league.
And I'm not talking about stars.

no. he's overrated, bad shooter, turnover prone, can't run a team and gets injured.

I don't like this poll...... For the right price I would take a chance on Bledsoe...... For example, if it's just Millsap for Bledsoe, then yes....... But if it's anything other than that, the answer turns to no........

I think the poll is basically.. do you want Bledsoe to be our future starting PG?

And, what I'm saying is, it's impossible to answer that question without factoring in the cost.......

well, assume you won't give up something outrageous. none of the core four. i mean, come on - favors for bledsoe? why do people have to complicate things?

stop being dumb. Obviously all they meant is would you want Bledsoe as the jazz's starting point guard. Regardless of the trade speculation, Is Bledsoe a guy you would want to run your team?

No its as simple as would you like to drive a BMW. Thats the point of the question. Regardless of everything else, if you had a BMW would you want to drive it. ??

thank you!!!

yes, we all saw the trade speculation so we know the general outline and parameters. so instead of speculating about trade fillers and stuff like that - answer the poll based on the general keys mentioned in the article. :banghead:

well, the thing is - i don't think that bledsoe would qualify as a BMW equivalent of an NBA player. that's part of the point of the poll, because i don't think he's all that good, i think he's being over hyped and over rated.

Look, the 2000-2002 Lakers won 3 titles with Fisher, Jordan won 6 titles with Armstrong and an aged Ron Harper. You don't need all 5 positions to be loaded to be a great team, so with that said, Bledsoe would be an upgrade over any of our PG's, as long as we don't give up Kanter or Favors, I'm pretty ok in dealing for him. I wouldn't want to give up Burks or Hayward if we can give up Jefferson or Millsap instead, but in the end, I think Bledsoe would makes us better than having both Burks and Hayward.

that's a fair point, but does this team have a kobe\shaq or a jordan\pippen? i think the answer is no, until proven otherwise.

will bledsoe be an upgrade at PG? well, yes - but that's because we're playing tinsley and watson. i don't think bledsoe will run this team better than mo, who hasn't done a good job. but the draft is coming up, so do i think bledsoe will be an upgrade over some of the options we could go for in the draft? my answer will have to be no. and going through the draft is a cheaper option too.

Too be completely honest I haven't seen a ton of Bledsoe so I guess I cant be completely sure, but the more I see of him (at least through highlights) the more I start to like his game. He doesn't seem to be an amazing scorer or shooter, or even ball handler at that, but he does some things that I really like.

1) Defense - He seems to be great an causing turnovers. He anticipates passes well. Overall he seems to be a really good defender.

2) Athleticism - he can jump out of the building, and he's really strong, very quick. In overall athleticism he excites me.

3) Hes a very good rebounder for his size

4) He seems to be really really tough. Thats one trait that i think gets underestimated in its importance. He seems like he's really competitive and tough and whats not to love about that.

Honestly I think the answer to the question is, I dont know. He obviously hasn't gotten that much playing time being behind paul so its hard to say, but if we can get him for millsap (who we are probably going to lose in free agency anyways) then why not. He might turn out being just what the Jazz need. And anything is better that watson.

Overall, I say get it done.

It's the wrong question to ask, because you don't get to drive a BMW for nothing.......

No one really knows how Bledsoe would do as a full time starter...... And it certainly depends on what kind of pieces he has around him...... If we have to gut our team to get him, that's one thing, if all we're giving up is someone who has no future here anyway, that's a completely different situation...... Things don't exist in a vacuum......
