This is a cool video with Cruz commenting on the fights. Sees Barao running in to the clinch with his hands up and getting tagged and says something along the lines of 'don't come at me like that boy'. Oh snap. Much like the GSP thing, Cruz isn't my favorite fighter, but it will be really really sad if he never gets back to 100%. With all his cutting and footwork in his fights, that's a pretty crappy injury to have, even moreso than it was for GSP.

I didn't see this event yet, just those highlights. Its cool how Barao randomly shows flashes of ufc1 Royce strategy though with controlling distance with arms extended and push kicks lol. Can't believe Jimmo knocked Te Huna out like 3 times and kept waking him back up. Crazy.

Swanson may just be more deserving than anyone at 145 for the shot.

OK if there is truth to the statement that Tom Watson "declared war" on all trt users, then he's my new favorite fighter and I'm not kidding.

Sounds like Facebook had some awesome fights. Pretty big names. Downloading that now. Watson-Nedkov, Castillo-Sass...these were all throwaways for FB?? (and the live event, of course).

Great sub from Barao. Agree, it would be effed up if Cruz couldnt come back strong. Hes personally devastated having to sit out, you can tell. Its harsh. God, and the mans movement, so amazing to watch.

Yeah, he kinda indirectly accused Nedkov of being on it too.

Just watched card, very hard to get into.

Mac vs Barao was killer, but the rest had me forcing myself to watch.

Diabate getting injured really sucked. :(

Anyways, without seeing any of the prelims, this is the worst main car in a while.

Next.

I think that was outright. He said, 'did you see how big that guy was at the weigh-ins?...testosterone... war on TRT.'

it was cool. I assume he knows for sure that Nedkov uses.

Okay, Gunnar Nelson fight was....weird.

That stance is going to have him ruined at 170.

I like his game, but man, his striking needs work.

Yeah you're right, though I got the feeling he kinda caught himself about 3/4 through and backed off a little from Nedkov himself. If Nedkov isn't using it then he really does owe him an apology, but who are we kidding he was enormous so he was probably on something.

Yeah, that fight was very alarming vis a vis his prospects. More so than a close, but uneventful decision win, or even loss, would have been. More so even than a flash KO or sub would have been. More so than a brawling win. Those can be products of arrogance, strategy, greenness in some nuance, etc.

In this case a lot of the time he was just standing there and taking punches whilst not throwing anything in return. His striking defense was pretty terrible. And how often do you see the striking defense of fighters improving discernibly? I can't think of anyone off hand. And in today's UFC you need above average striking D to be a champion. They all have it. And almost all of the challengers did too. At least the legit ones. I don't see the problem getting remedied moving down to face fighters his own size but faster at LW either. I see it getting worse. He wouldn't get everyone down.
