What's been your opinion on the allstar games that you would like to share?

Man hard to watch Faried out there. In wizard's hands. How he slip past the draft?
Anyway, just venting a bit. But how you all like it so far?

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I didn't mind it. The whole event could have been better, but it is what it is. It's entertaining.

I just wish James White and Gerald Green didn't choke in the spotlight. If those two lay down nasty dunks in the 2nd round instead of laying an egg, we just watched the best dunk contest since the J Rich days

Did they just start the east-west thing this year? I don't remember that, but it will likely lead to less compelling final rounds.

All-Star Saturday night is rarely a spectacle to behold -- it's usually filled with scrub players giving half-ass efforts. That much is certain. But this All-Star Saturday night was on a whole 'nother level of terribleness.

Just a short list I've compiled of some of the things that were wrong with yesterday.....

-Nick Cannon
-Microphones not working during performances/interviews
-Rick Fox
-Houston Crowd
-All favorites lost their respective competition
-Musical Selection
-Musical Performances
-East vs. West format
-Terrible 1st round of dunk contest
-Dunk contest results in before clock expired / Cannon had paper before clock expired

I didn't have a problem with the favorites not winning. In fact, I enjoyed watching Irving win the 3 pt competition over more renown 3 pt shooters.

I also noticed that they handed Nick Cannon the results for the dunk contest even before the supposed time to vote for the winner had expired. Strange.

Haven't really paid attention to an All-Star weekend in about 5-6 years.

It just doesn't hold my attention.

Heck. I'll probably watch a Law & Order marathon during the game.

President Donald Trump referred to African countries, Haiti and El Salvador as "shithole" nations during a meeting Thursday and asked why the U.S. can't have more immigrants from Norway.

I never watch the game. It's just non stop fastbreak with no D and nobody tries until the last five minutes.

I do enjoy All-Star Saturday, but I didn't see it this year(was at Mason all day for Homecoming). Heard it sucked anyway.

Dunk Contest needs to go back to having STARS. I mean what in the **** is a Jeremy Evans? James White gets like five minutes a game. Lebron, Howard, Griffin, etc. guys like that need to be in it.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Agree - otherwise, just show tape of MJ and 'Nique battling it out. Or Dr. J...or even Terrance Stansbury.

I was watching part of the contest last pm and was saying to my brother - who are these guys?

With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And—which is more—you’ll be a Man, my son!

Don't really care about it at all. You can spend 15 minutes on YouTube after the weekend is done and have seen everything worth seeing.

3pt comp is all i look forward to.

Dunk comp is boring, they should at least try and get borderline all-star level guys. The last time i really enjoyed a dunk comp was in like 2005 or 06, Josh Smith, Amare, they were awesome.

I didn't watch any NBA all weekend. I don't care for the all star game. I did enjoy the dunk contest Javale was in, but the fact that Blake Griffin won soured me on all dunk contests. I usually enjoy the three-point contest. That is about all I like on all star weekend.

I have seen Ross's dunk off the backboard, which was pretty impressive.

I didn't watch much of the all-star weekend, and the parts I did watch encouraged me not to watch more of it. It seems like a show for kids. Not sure why anyone over 20 would be entertained by it. The all-star game itself? I watched a little but it didn't hold my attention. Watching the player intros... painful - no offense to Neo fans.

For I think the first time in my life, I watched almost all of all three nights, including some of the celebrity all-star game. My 97-year-old father-in-law builds his entire day around whatever game is on, is a big Skins, Nats, and Wizards fan, and doesn't know what to do if there's no game, so I tried to make the weekend seem interesting, narrating everything, giving him back stories, pointing out any player that had any sort of DC connection (that wasn't easy). He liked Faried and Irving in the Rising Stars Challenge, the 3 point shooting competition, Paul in the All-Star game, and Kobe trying to shut down Lebron in the 4th. That's what I liked too. I think we both would have hated it all if we were watching solo.

PS: He also liked Alicia Keyes a lot, but he couldn't understand what all the music acts had to do with basketball. I agree. Some Vegas lounge singer doing non-stop singing narration would seem more appropriate to the absurdity. "Kobe and Lebron, you are the yin and yang of greatness," or "How high, will you fly, Kyrie?"

My guilty pleasure is the celebrity game. I love watching Arnie Duncan playing basketball.

Years ago, I saw David Duchovny in a pro-celeb game. That guy was the best non-pro on the court.

My favorite celeb game was Nils Lofgren vs. Howard Stern, one-on-one on The Howard Stern {TV] Show. Stern is like 6'5" and Lofgren is probably a foot or so shorter. Lofgren was good, but Stern was hilarious, like Frankenstein on quaaludes swatting flies.

Is there any chance Obama makes it out there? After 2016?

I used to love the entire All-Star weekend. I think the Saturday night suffers because stars aren't participating. The All-Star game itself isn't as much fun to me as it once was, but I still enjoy watching guys being able showboat a little.

I think the Saturday night is fixable if they would draw participants from All-Star rosters. Maybe add an event or two and require All-Star players to participate in at least one event. One event I'd want to see is "fastest with the ball."

I will admit, it was fun watching Kyrie battle and humiliate Knight on Friday.
