I wont say no to this trade but im not big fan of it neither, as pg Bledsoe got similar skill set as Alec so definitely he wont solve most of ours problem at 1 spot, of course if only alternative to this trade is loosing Sap in summer they should make this happen, but i think there are still some better options than getting Bledsoe for ex. Jack; maybe Sessions;Barea( his performance on last 11 games of 11/12 season was simply phenomenal), Marshall if Suns still dont want to play him.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

I've been saying on the Nuggets side that we should be willing to unload McGee & Chandler for Barnes, Biedrins, & the rights to Kuzmic.

I know GS doesn't win much so they might be trying to maximze their shot here. There were actual rumors that GS was interested in McGee too.

Millsap & Jefferson are both expirings so I'm not sure if this run plus the best chance to bring the one they traded for back is worth the deal. But if I was the FO I'd be making a call and asking about Barnes.

More or less, Millsap to the Clips would involving taking Odom back along with Bledsoe. That's an extremely easy and sensible deal. Odom get's told to stay home and everyone calls it good. The only hang up and worry would be from the Clips side because Millsap is an expiring deal. It's hard to see them taking Paul unless there's confidence that he'll sign an extension. Either that, or they have such a raging mancrush on him and they are certain that he puts them over the top.

Moving Jefferson for Bledsoe is much more complicated due to Jefferson's contract and the Clips willingness to blow up the team. The same issues arise though with Jefferson as with Millsap due to the expiring deal, but Jefferson is a starter in LA (versus Millsap who will most certain play behind Griffin) and as such, it'd be much easier to convince him to re-sign.

All in all, as much as I personally want the deal to get done, LA would be hesitant either way. The ball's in their court anyway. It's not like Bledsoe is cancer or anything. They just want to stir the pot to see what they can get.

The deal maybe dead: https://mobile.twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine

Marc Stein @ESPNSteinLine
Just under 20 hours left before trade deadline for stances to change, but mostly standing-pat rumbles coming from both Clipperland and Utah

If LA shifts away from trading for KG, then Boston loses an opportunity to maximize Garnett's trade value while blowing up the team.

KG is the one with the trade clause, and if Boston wants to start over (likely) then he also knows that they don't want to start over with him. So this rumor is about indirectly applying pressure by taking an option off the theoretical table. Utah, at this point, is the pawn.

What he has said in the press is essentially PR. I wouldn't put much stock in it.

i guess what KG said wasn't PR after all:

Chris Paul contacted Kevin Garnett prior to the trade deadline to gauge his interest in joining the Los Angeles Clippers.

According to a source, Paul called Garnett and said that he if was open to joining the Clippers, then Paul would make it happen.

Garnett declined to waive his no-trade clause to go to the Clippers.

The Celtics and Clippers reportedly discussed a deal that would have sent Garnett to Los Angeles for Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan.
