Locked into the 8th seed for the length of those deals. Might as well deal Henson. :(

Yeah right, we are the 8th seed right now, and adding Redick & Smith would be a significant upgrade over Moute & Ellis. We be locked in to fighting for the 4th/5th seed.

That isn't even a coherent lineup. Who guards big quick athletic SGs or PGs? That's a gimmicky lineup that only gives u an advantage against other poorly constructed teams, 8 seed lockdown is exactly right...

Impossible to put a number on it. Everything is fluid at this point. What was most disturbing to me was just the confirmation of how misguided/short sighted the ownership/front office truly is. There's a chance no deals happen. It just got me depressed hearing what they're trying to do.

If any deals are made, you can bet different trades most on here would be happier with will have been passed on. That you can count on.

For how much longer? Maybe you get up to the 5th seed next year. Then Smith and Reddick start to decline and you're stuck with them.

I really don't understand how a starting lineup of Street FA/Lamb/Harris/Ersan/Sanders wins more than 15 games in a season.

um maybe not ersan but sanders has proven how important he is in winning you games.... have you seen the collapse when he's been out the last 2 weeks....?

I just don't think you have the offensive fire power. I focused on offense with my post cause I don't think Sanders is a number 1 type guy. He can score off of others and slip into spots, but I don't think you can throw him the ball and expect great results with more volume. I don't care how great he is on D, if you can't regularly score 90 then you aren't winning many games.

A rough winshare estimate puts us at about 4 extra wins, but I feel it would be a bit more since JJ contributes to about one quarter of Orlando's wins by himself.

Would dropping like 90 bucks on the pro rated remainder of the season for league pass be an option where you're staying? If not you're better off anyway though, watching this backcourt is torture and now it looks like we're sticking with them til the end of the season at least...

Sanders wins you games. Elite Defensive Anchors are hell valuable.

I don't like any of these moves.......BUT

If Kohl wants to roll with a 9-man core of:

Ersan, Sanders, Josh Smith, Tobias, Dunleavy, Redick, Udoh, Jennings, Udrih

That will at least be interesting to watch.

And if the Bucks overpay a bit, I'm ok. I'd rather we pick a direction and if we crash and burn, we crash and burn. This is a direction. The talent upgrade in Smith and Redick would be significant IMO.

Nope, stuck in a dorm. I'm an engineering major, so I've got no time to make it worth it. Hate this team too much to contribute my time or money anyway.

Like I said earlier, "Season's over anyway"

Actually, based on this post there is some optimism to be found here, if the FO is truly this short sighted and directionless then maybe two big losses the next two days changes the equation completely. I'm going to be rooting for huge losses the next two nights like there's no tomorrow...

BTW, does anybody think Josh Smith gives anything near full effort in Milwaukee??

This is totally a Gary Payton situation in waiting.

The best thing about this Reddick rumor is that someone on the board will use it next season to get a dig in at Hammond. Because every trade rumor is legit you know.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Josh Smith and Larry Sanders would be a damn interesting inside duo. Would love to watch those two.

Playoffs or bust! We were 8 games under last year when we dealt Bogut I believe. Being a game over .500 has to really have Kohl stoked up.

Sanders will win you about 6-7 games by himself unless he has Chris Paul as his point guard. Ersan maybe 7-8 games. They would still need an uber efficient player like Dunleavy next to them and a ball dominant low turnover low efficiency to get to playoff worthiness. This isn't even discussing if other teams like the Cavs, Raptors, or Pistons take a leap next year.

Hammond has a very easy way to shut us up. Deliver the goods on the court.

I'll contribute when we're on national TV.

Oh wait, ESPN also knows we're irrelevant.
