Especially if they wanna trade Ellis for Smith who is a much better version of Moute
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

See this is a classic example of why talking trades pisses me off this is actually a pretty fair decent trade in my book they get a much better compliment to Jennings and we get a young player and a midround draft selection i dont see why they wanna go shoot themselves over this deal?
'

a.) There's a stigma attached to JJ by any non-duke fan outside of Orlando
b.) Fans think all he is good for is sitting in the corner to shoot 3s. I think rival coaches and GMs know his value, but most non-magic fans haven't caught on to the leap in his game.

The trade is only good to them though if JJ resigns -- so in that respect they better be willing to offer him a starting spot with decent pay. That team needs to get worst before it gets better though, their savior probably isn't coming in free agency, barring a max deal to smith or someone else.

I'm warming up to the trade a bit. If the Bucks' pick stays at 15, that gives us three possibilities come draft night for our two picks.

1.) Ben McLemore/Trey Burke
2.) Shabazz Muhammad/Trey Burke
3.) Marcus Smart/Victor Oladipo

I'd be fine with any of those.

Got no problem with that logic at this point. Just don't know how I would deal with another season being worst team in the league. I don't accept losing very well.

I feel your pain pimp, our last game had me glad I was drunk. But other posters have said logical things about 14 being the draft to take us out of this slump.

Great hauls. And Luc is a good player off the bench. I'm warming up to it too.

Plus I love that the Bucks fans hate it. It'll give me 3 teams to root for for the 2nd half of the season. Anyone playing us, the Lakers, and Bucks.

I dont like the idea of another tweener 3-4 player on a long term deal and a mid to late 1st, ill pass. I would rather just send him to Minny for there unprotected 14 pick and roll the dice on a rubio or love injury again

Where did you get that? For which trade? Seems to me other teams are submitting us offers...

from WT : "The Orlando Magic have offered J.J. Redick to the Milwaukee Bucks for Luc Mbah a Moute and a first round pick, according to sources."

It seems the other articles about it say it was us doing the offer

I didn't get that from what the source wrote...
One deal that has been proposed is Mbah a Moute and a first-round pick to Orlando for J.J. Redick, who will be a free agent this summer, multiple league sources say. The belief is that Milwaukee would only do that deal if they moved Ellis first.

to be honest, i would rather Shump + pick than Luc + pick, if those rumors were true.

Bucks pick is likely 14-18, we can draft a better talent than Shumpert there. Mbah a Moute is a good defender earning $4m a year, that's an asset to flip to a contender IMO.

While I am not crazy about the Shumpert deal, the chances of a player picked 14-18 becoming a rotation player is a crapshoot. Shumpert is a proven NBA player, assuming he is recovered from injury. His upside is arguably much higher than anything we'll see at 15 and certainly moreso than Mbah a Moute. Shumpert has the potential to be a long term investment, chances are the Bucks deal just results in cap space in two years.

Winning the lottery will be tough...plus I'd rather win it next year. Marcus Smart and Shabazz Muhammad both seem like Hennigan guys. Well spoken guys with great upside. I'm all for the idea of getting one of them with Trey Burke later on.

I'm just not that ecstatic for Mbah a Moute + 1st rder. I just see Oladipo + Burke getting picked in the 8-12 range and our mid round pick being almost worthless.

Worthless? There's always good talent in any draft, GMs just have to do their research!

I say we go after a guy with potential down the road in Steven Adams from Pittsburgh, with the Bucks potential pick.

Some of y'all are way underrating Shumpert, thinking that we can get better talent at 14. It's pretty unlikely. Before the late season injury, Shumpert started becoming pretty well known as the next big thing. The hype has died down quite a bit with the time off the court, but thinking that a mid-round draft pick is a likely better asset is off IMO. He's a defensive stud, and has offensive ability that you can build on.

Anyone look at all of these possible trade scenarios and just think...

Max Luckan ‏@MaxLuckan
The #Bucks are more interested in J.J. Redick than Josh Smith, per source. Talks have progressed.

Just Great! Magic take on another Harrington type contract . . . :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Nah, maybe just one for this year or until 2014.

It's also possible they do something with a team looking to get under the luxury tax for this year and use their TPE to take an expiring contract.

I've gone the opposite way lately, thinking we gotta trade him. It's just unlikely that he'll survive the rebuilding process. We'll need his trade value eventually, and we'll be in no shape to use his talents properly. I'd rather trade him now, than sign him long-term and trade him to a place he may not want to go, or losing him for nothing. The guy deserves to play somewhere he wants.
