Re: Around the NBA II
I never would have picked Hedo as a candidate for Steroid suspension.
In other news, I was watching the Birdman closely recently....I never realized what a smart defensive player he is...talk about a guy knowing his role...next time you get a chance, watch him work on offense and defense away from the ball...really smart basketball player. What a great pickup for them.

funny - i watched him the other day and had exactly the same thought "hmmm, has he always known angles like that?" Ended up with 2 or 3 steals and defelctions from playing passing lanes perfectly

I always thought Anderson was good. But it's easy to look passed his understated talents when the guy insists on overstating his presentation; he looks/looked like a suburban 16 year old rebelling against his parents. If he was a rookie today I'm sure he'd present like three Skrillexes stacked on top of each other.
That's hilarious and co

Re: Around the NBA II
Anyone watching the Heat/Thunder? Lebron. Blimey. He reminds me of the 2001/02 Barry Bonds in his dominance.
Minus the Sloth from Goonies head, obviously.
Bonds just had his way back then. Throw anything his way and forget it. I somewhat wish the Giants would've traded him to the BoSox so he could've hit between Manny and Ortiz. He might've hit 90 home runs while batting .410. It would've been a hilarious sight. Plus, hearing Simmons excuse it to this day would still provide comedic relief.
Wow. Anyway. Lebron reminds me of that. Simply terrifying. Dominant. I'm so happy I'm a witness (okay, that last one was tongue in cheek).

LeBron is the f'n man, I have never seen a player like him with this level of dominance since prime Shaq. Unbelievable.

Did anyone watch the Duke/Maryland game? Can't fault you if you didn't. But the Maryland coach had a tie for the ages. Not only was it ugly, it also went down to his knees (well, almost). Ridiculous is putting it nicely.
That's hilarious and co

The one on his wikipedia page is fairly attention grabbing, but not in the league you are describing.

I can't believe Jordan beat MKG one v one, recently. I'm not sure whether that should be seen negatively on MKG or just how great Jordan is/was.

Monta Ellis is 41/177 on 3s. Nobody in NBA history with at least that many attempts has shot a worse percentage. Monta Ellis have it all!

Re: Around the NBA II
I've always thought Monta would sign with Atlanta.....I think he'd love to play there based on home life.
Smith in Milwaukee makes no sense. I don't see that place as a fit for him.

Re: Around the NBA II
Maybe they figure since no one is going to offer Smoove max money the fifth year from bird rights will be enough to keep him?
I'm assuming Ersan would be going somewhere too otherwise that's alot of money for one spot, have no idea where that would leave Henson too, oddly constructed team for sure.

Saving money before the owners bail. Seattle has to deal with the mess.

I usually screw up the draft because I don't watch college ball, but this time I wish I had been Warriors GM. I'm liking Drummond over Barnes (though I do like Barnes), and O'Quinn over Ezili, and Crowder over Green.

LMAO at the folks who wanted the injured Bogut. AD is exactly what we need right now. We could use Bogut 14 mil to get any of the top quality SF out there
