Man, it's been a depressing couple of years...
I wish we hadn't traded Chauncey...even if it we didn't win another title with that group again.

lol, it always comes back to this, stop living in the past. Somewhat off-topic but i thought the afflalo trade was even worse, we basically traded a player worthy of starting that plays great D for another player we used as a starter that really isn't one in this league.

Most people would rather rebuild when they know their ceiling is 2nd round exit. Actually, Joe did not even try to rebuild, he tried to retool and it was a disaster. To be fair to him, I don't think anyone expected Ben Gordon, Hamilton, and Prince to be so underwhelming. Anyway he went into a rebuilding mode and now has Drummond and Monroe. Most rebuilding teams never get that lucky.

I really hope that Max, Bynum, CV and Stuckey are off this team soon.

Was the 4th quarter the best part of the game for anyone else? You know....the time we FINALLY played the youngsters???? English, Middleton, JJ, Kravtsov - bummed Knight wasn't out there. But was happy to see them getting decent minutes in the 4th together.
I have been yearning for the organization to commit to the youth - commit to the rebuild. However, I still think Dumars in in re-tool mode.
Agreed.
For the fourth season in a row, we're a freakin' lottery team. And for the fourth season in a row, we've been forced to watch NBA vets lose us all these games.
For the love of all that is holy, if we're gonna lose, can we PLEASE play the kids?!? If we're going to lose 75% of the rest of our games regardless, I want to watch Knight, Monroe, Drummond, Singler, Middleton, English, Kravtsov, and JJ get a majority of the minutes.

I agree with you Pete- unfortunately considering that we traded a first rounder to Charlotte, I cannot see us going with a full rebuild. Ill give Joe this offseason to see what he does but Im not optimistic.
I think that the fact that this game thread is only 5 pages and was started while the game was already in progress shows that even the die hard fans are just about done with this team. And, as evidenced by the embarrassingly low attendance, fans arent gonna pay money to see Calderon/Max/Bynum/Stuckey play big minutes. What we need is a young exciting player that can score buckets.
Put him around Knight/Monroe/Drummond and see where we go from there. Eric Gordon is on the market and he should be our first target. Unfortunately, I have a sick feeling that we will go after a guy like Monta Ellis.

I'd rather have Monta Ellis than give Reddick 10 mil per. I like Reddick, but not at 10 million a year.

I hope we don't end up with Gerald Henderson for our SG acquisition in FA this upcoming offseason.

I went to sleep at the halftime and I do not regret. The game was painful to watch.
