Doubt Gallinari could do what Gay's doing in Toronto right now. Come in and be the man and #1 option while leading them to a 6-2 record.

Are you kidding me? Rudy Gay has had 3 or 4 seasons better than what Gallinari is putting up this year.Johnny Firpo wrote:What Gallo is doing in 2013, is definitely better than anything that Gay showed in his NBA career. Better defender, better passer, better shooter, much more efficient scorer, taking care of the ball a lot better. But he still have to show he's that player now. He cannot slip, he was always a good, all-star caliber player imo, but he was also very inconsistent.
His best games are amazing, like last night, he really was like a Lebron-light out there, scoring, shooting, passing, defending, did everything at a high level, no wonder he finished the night with 25/5/5 statline (1 turnover), and +20 +- rating, in a close game. But he can't/aren't willing to do that every night yet, and we talked about that on these forums, it is because he's sometimes too unselfish.
