Dana's such a tool. He's saying that he had co-promotion lined up with Invicta because Cyborg refuses to fight at 135. But of course, Tito had to go ruin those plans, canceling the agreement with UFC/Invicta, and signing with Invicta outright.

Since Dana has never shown a willingness to co-promote and likes to take shots at Tito whenever possible, gonna call BS on this. It's just lip service to make it seem like they actually care about the future of the division/potential 145 division beyond Rousey.

Then the author who wrote all those fighter mind/warrior spirit books. Name is escaping me at the moment. EDIT: I think he may have been on today actually.

Then the big one man, the one everyone has been waiting for. This Thursday, Dana White on Joe Rogan's podcast. Going to be interesting to me to see if Dana can just be chill and chat and not be in promoter mode the entire time. I'm excited, I won't lie.

So yea since its mma heavy, maybe it is of interest to more than jsut cbr and I.

I like it fine, just not any with stand-ups.

Phillip Coppens was very good.

The star guy was cool.

I just have to skip half of them. Honey Honey? Are you f'n kidding me?

The DW one should be great.

A nice listen.

Anybody see "I Once Was a Champion" yet?

Holy hell does Chael not hold back how he really feels about Tanner. Those two are polar opposites and I imagine Chael is a little jealous that Tanner got to hold that belt around his waist while being such a troubled bastard.

I haven't seen that one. I've seen some mma documentaries on netflix lately though.

The Jon Fitch one (such great heights) would have been a lot better if it wasn't just a giant AKA infomercial.

The other one was the wec guy, Chad George. Kind of an insight into the life of a middling fighter. Not a diss on his skills, but he's a fringe ufc guy kind of deal. A look into his somewhat tumultuous life and lifestyle and finances.

Chael basically calls him stupid, immature and extremely selfish. RZ, I've seen both of those and I think that this one is significantly better mainly because Tanner's life was just that interesting. He was at the top of the world for a while there, then came crashing down and really experienced everything in between there.

I should check it out. I don't know all that much about Tanner. He died pretty much rightttt when I was getting back into the sport.

According to UFC president Dana White, you don't turn down UFC VP for Talent Relations Joe Silva.

“I can tell you this man, you f@$%ing call Joe Silva and turn down a fight, you might as well say f@$%ng rip up my contract," said White at the UFC on Fuel TV 7 post-fight media scrum. "He’s a mean little f@$%er. You don’t call Joe Silva and tell him you don’t want to f@$%ing fight anybody man. You might as well take the fight because it’s going be worse if you don’t. You might as well do it, f@$% it, I’ll fight him."

It's nice when people come out and admit what kind of vindictive egomaniacs you know they are and you don't just have to interpret it from their actions that can be explained away by behind the scenes events. Also, is Dana White capable of uttering one sentence without swearing? I'm not a prude, but he really could use some elocution lessons, in lieu of a lack of education. As is he's a wonderful representative of the sport.

You know one motivation that wasn't brought up after DFW changed his stance on TRT is it appearing imminent Josh Barnett will sign w/ Bellator. You know he'd like to stick it to them, although for the record he has no beef w/ those guys. Now let him take a few minutes after one of his shows to school everybody on the Bellator ratings with specifics and convenient negative spin. Now put that in your f@#$in pipe and smoke it, Bjork!

Great footage so far. But LOL @ his coach/manager repeatedly calling it "Pancreas".

Either Ariel was just spoiling me or the mmahour has been slipping lately. I haven't heard this week's yet, but the guest lists have been underwhelming. I don't really care about Ronda Rousey's mom or the random ring girl who didn't know the fight ended lol.

However, I must say that by far the most interesting aspect of this Rousey/Cyborg situation to me is how Cyborg sometimes refers to Tito as "Thee Cheeto".

I was hoping Coenen would say that she was down for 135 but doesn't look to be the case, which sucks. I wish these fighters would stop talking about fighting Ronda at 145, there are exactly two 145ers that people even know about, its just not happening anytime soon imo.

I just don't understand why they didn't make it 145 in the first place. If Rousey wants to come in at 136, that's on her, but she'd have options. Two of the four best WMMA-ists aren't in UFC because of that. It's stupid business. I wouldn't give Invicta an inch, let alone two "stars".

But you can't just make Cyborg and Rousey fight each other over and over can you? Hearing Coenen's interview just now, she doesn't seem like she's very far from retirement, wants kids. I feel like 135 has more depth, even though it sucks. Whereas 145 has two good fighters but sucks even more after that. I mean Rousey/Meisha is on par with Cyborg/Coenen...then 135 has more depth with Kaufman Carmouche Kedzie etc.

I actually originally advocated bringing in a catch all 140 pound division. I still think that may have been the best option. Then at the very least you could have some depth, right?

Either way, it's not going to make much of a difference once the PPV numbers come in and the powers that be smack Dana about for putting his girlfriend above his bros.

Court McGree vs Nate Marquardt in a charisma contest...who wins?

Nobody watching the contest, that's for sure.

Bro, so disappointing...not Josh Thomson, James Thompson. LOL. The latter might still be cool, yet to be seen.
