Both the Bulls and Pacers do play tough and physical...like the Celtics. That is something that the Knicks will have to rachet up before playoff time or they could get blitzed quick. Wallace and Camby are keys to that. And that is also really the biggest reasons ive wanted Andersen, West and Martin.

The dynamic with Indy has changed due to George developing into an all-star and terrific allround player,Hill replacing Collison fulltime as a starter (Hill is a very smart player and strong shooter), and Stephenson playing a terrific season. Granger is only gonna make them deeper, bigger, stronger and more dangerous. Actually the combination of Young,Stephenson,Granger and George at the swing positions is VERY VERY tough to handle due to their size, defense, unselfishness and ability to score in a variety of ways. The only reason I feel like the Knicks can still take down Indy is because we'll hopefully have HCA and Indy doesn't have that lightning quick PG or small guard that can consistantly break down our defense....

Agreed. Indiana is definitely dangerous. The biggest thing about them is that they play very well as a team. Team work masks weaknesses and no team has shown that better than the Pacers. The Bulls on the other hand? Let's hope the playoff positioning has them matching up against the Heat. :D

People here are delusional. Bulls lost to just about every .500 team other than us.

Chicago with Rose is better than this squad. They play better team defense and are better coached. Same for Indy ( Granger is on his way back too). People thought Indy was a joke last year and that in itself was the joke. Both teams are better than the Knicks. Point, blank, period.

Pacers are not better than the Knicks. Granger and his 38% shooting I am sure is sorely missed.
Knicks have been without a plethora of players, at times an entire starting line up. Shumpert is still not healthy, Amare is not back to full playing time yet. Camby/Sheed are both out.

We just have a lot of recovery to do. Bulls have 1 guy to recover from. And yea, with Rose, they are "better" than us. Pacers just are not. Hibbert is solid, but Chandler is on par. West is nothing special. Is their back court really so stellar?

Knicks are better than we are playing. Woodson needs to bite the bullet and start Amare.

We'll see how much better Indiana is than the Knicks tonight...let's say we meet back here.

Frankly, I don't even care if they may be technically better than us. If we win the games that we are supposed to win and even win games we have no business winning, I'm happy.

Being an underdog is fun. Besides, how great would it be if we met Chicago (who I'm sure everyone would heavily favor towards) and then beat them in the playoffs? Or we do the improbable and beat the Heat? If we go around thinking we stand no chance or we just aren't good enough, we won't win squat.

The worst thing this team can do is become complacent or act cocky and thinking we are above anyone. Basically, how we have played lately. I would prefer us to feel like our backs are against the wall and the only way out is to push through. That's when the true character of a person is revealed.

that's how the last 5-10+ games were with the knicks. compared to the beginning of the year when they played with vibrancy, heart, and acted like they wanted to prove something.

How long have you been a Knicks fan? I'm guessing that no longer than a couple of years. If you don't know why the Bulls are not just "another team" and why being a Knicks fan and giving "props" to the Bulls (which they do not deserve) does not belong together, then there is no point in this debate.

The biggest joke are people calling themselves "Knicks fans" and admiring the Bulls. That;s pathetic.

Get out of hear with the "I've been a knick fan longer than you". Of course you have because your older than us all     .

If a team is better than your favorite team it's not the end all be all. They are just better. That being said, it does not mean that we can't beat ANY team in the playoffs. If we get hot who knows........

If those teams were better, they'd have the better record.

Our defense needs to become more consistent before I take us over Indy. This is on Woodson for now, but like I said we will see come playoff time. I know this I don't want to face either of those teams fully healthy in the 1st rd (lets gain some steam first).

That's fine. But with the way the Knicks have been playing lately, they will have the better record sooner than later.

They will? Or they could?

So if we beat Indy today, does that make us better?

Indy has an advantage against some teams because of their size...however, we nullify Hibberts size because Chandler makes him his bit h whenever they play each other...if we ever get away from small ball, we actually match up very well against them and I'm fully confident we will beat them in a 7 game series with or without Granger.

Knicks are marginally better at this point, but that could change very quickly in the upcoming weeks, especially considering the Knicks' upcoming schedule. We shall see.

I think both teams are like 6-4 in their last 10 games, so if our play has been poor lately theirs has been as well.

But only time will tell, but as of right now, they aren't better.

I have to say that I think Indiana and Chicago would be favored against us in a playoff series at this point.

Good. I wouldn't have it any other way. Then when we beat them, no excuses.

the idea that this roseless bulls team is elite is crazy. what they're doing is nothing new. they always played just as well in the regular season without rose because they out effort everybody. then the playoffs come and everybody plays with effort and a mediocre philly teams beats them easily.
