Wizards and Josh

So apparently the Wizards are actively pursuing a trade for Josh. Has anyone heard of any potential pieces in the trade? Who do yall want? Id take Nene, straight up.

I wouldn't. Nene is old, has injury issues, and he's getting PAID for the next few years. In fact, Nene would be the LAST person on their roster I'd want to trade for.

We're not good trading partners, the only pieces I'd be interested in (Beal, Wall, Seraphin) are likely unobtainable.

According to Chris Broussard's tweet:

Is 30 old?

I get the injury concern, but age wise I'd say he's still in his prime.

Same as Josh.

It leaves Seraphin + filler, and it would require too many fillers to find a trade that works unless there is a third team.
WAS is not a good trade partner.

I'm waiting for somebody to throw in a draft pick, but so far, everything has been way below Josh's value

30 as a big man is IMO well past prime IMO. He's also signed until he's like 33/34.

So do you agree that re-signing Josh is a bad idea as he will be 32/33 by the time his new deal likely ends?
And where nene uses brute strength and size, Josh uses speed and athleticism which will likely be greatly diminished when he hits the ripe old age of '30'.

Argue all you want though' anyone that would trade Josh Smith for NENE straight up should just stop watching basketball.
