For a future 2nd, just watch.

Guess not.

The Rockets will send Patrick Patterson, Cole Aldrich and Toney Douglas to the Kings for Thomas Robinson, sources tell Y!

Well I'll be damned.

What a...weird deal. I've noticed Jerry has always seemed to love Patterson, but this is really kind of a waste of a #5 pick.

I mean depending on how T-Rob turns out, it might not be that bad. Patterson is a very solid player, and Douglas would be nice if we had any place for him at all.

But no matter what, it sure looks bad. If T-Rob busts, it was a bad pick in the first place. If he breaks out, it was a bad trade.

Not too bad of return in all honesty. I figured Petrie would hold onto him until all that value dried up sitting behind Jason Thompson. Now, hopefully he can unload JT's deal before this deadline too.

Sucks about Cisco and Honeycutt being in the deal, but Cuz gets to play with his boy Pat now, so that's good! Hopefully they get a good look at Aldrich and don't just cut him, he could be a major get if they let him fill that role as a shotblocker.

I'm shocked that Petrie actually pulled the trigger here, but this turned out just the way I thought it could. If we knew what was even going to happen with the franchise I might look at this deal a positive sign that Petrie was ready to wake up and get to work, but things are obviously bigger than any of that these days.

Oh boy, now we get to see Isaiah, Brooks, Jimmer, and Douglas all split PG minutes.

It is horrible. You dont give up a top 5 pick for a package like this. The players we are getting back are nothing special at all. We dont need Douglas, Aldrich has shown nothing so far, and Patterson is a solid role player with no big potential. Add that we threw in a pick, it's horrible
