Re: Knicks/Lakers postgame
I'm a Lakers fan and I'm sad my team lost but happy for Lin and the Knicks. I bought League Pass last year and watched half the Warriors games hoping to see Lin break out. Been doing the same with Knicks games this year and finally got to see it.
You guys played great team ball and D'Antoni did a great job making Kobe and our bigs force tough shots. I rag on D'Antoni a lot but I really think he's a better coach than he gets credit for. Mike Brown on the other hand.... horrible.

It's amazing to think about. The players who have come in for them have stepped up immensely and I hope they can maintain that intensity off the bench because suddenly our depth will be golden.
That said, I'm starting to find all the Lin puns annoying. Lincredible, Linsanity...blah blah blah...I find it kinda corny...that's my only complaint about Lin. His name lends itself to far to many puns.
I know that's 1-2-3 Kid, but is that Jeff Jarett who fell? That's crazy!

You know who'd be the perfect coach for a team led by Jeremy Lin?
MIKE D'ANTONI!

EDIT: When Lin said at the half time interview that he missed Tyson a couple of times, and he is going to the locker room to watch videos, I got to admit, I did a little bit of this:
Didn't even care that my mom was in the room.
LOL that kid is cerebral, and is taking his craft seriously. The chick interviewing him was like "right NOW????

I'll give D'antoni his propers for this game for sure. He actually got the X's and O's right, which has been my biggest issue with him. He game planned proper this time and if he can do that consistently, I'll lay off.

“Melo’s a hell of a scorer, and he has to do what he does best,” Bryant said. “He’s a great rebounder, tough on the offensive boards, and he’s a handful on the block. I hope he has the stubbornness to stay with it and not let you guys talk him into changing anything about his game, because I damn sure wouldn’t.”
lol BS. If Kobe stuck to his guns, he'd have 0 titles. He was forced to play within a team context by Phil.
Kobe is a champion and deserves his praise, but he is also a prima donna who is about as good a source of advice on management as Willy Wonka. No, wait, that's an insult to Mr. Wonka.
The league's reigning prima donna telling someone to stay true to their diva self is the last thing in the world Melo needs to hear. It's downright ignorant.

This is amazing! Was out & missed the game, but got back late and watched a replay. Started dozing off in the second half, but kept getting woken up by Breen shouting Lin. Dude's got a jumper too! Let's just enjoy this ride.
