You do realise this your polar opposite, right? As delusionally over the top Anti-Josh Smith as you are this guy is equally delusionally over the top pro-Josh Smith. If you find his post ridiculous, you really need to do some self reflection.

I'm anti-Josh, but I give Josh credit for good games. Particularly when he shoots above 50% from the field and scores mostly from the paint.

That guy LOVES Josh's game way more thn I despise it.

This is rude to say, but there is a separate reality that Smith fans live in. Smith is shooting stupidly and badly, turning over the ball way too many times in important situations, making dunderheaded decisions while trying to be a PG and all his fans can do is thrill at his game. Sorry guys, he played badly, foolishly, absent-mindedly. He took stupid shots too early in the shot clock when it was important to get good shots. He's determined that HE'S going to win the game for us or we're going down. Nobody else is allowed to win for us.

I also don't like the hatred of Smith fans toward any other Hawk who "threatens" Smith. First it was Marvin Williams, who played the SF position Smith wanted. Then it was Joe, who took the shots Smith wanted. Now, it's Horford, who has the respect Smith wants. Horford had a very good game tonight and all the Smith fans can do is dump on him.

Can we trade the Smith fans and keep Smith?

I will agree that Josh had more of a mediocre game, but I have never attempted to dump on Horford. Like you said, he had dumb shots, but a few were late in the shot clock. Can't really blame that on him. Also, Smith did have 5 TO's but 2 of them were Teague's fault more so.

I really can't wait to see who the scapegoat will be after Smith is gone. I have a feeling it will be Teague though.

Al "manned" the Of against A: the opposing Center and B: the guy you want to trade setting him up over and over.

A.) AL is lacking as a go to scorer. No doubt. He is dependent on playmakers. Always has been. Whether those passes come from Smoove, Lou, Teague, Harris doesn't matter.

B.) MIAMI doesn't have a center. He guarded Bosh who is a 7x time All Star at PF.

(Just imagine Harden and Horford on the pick and roll had we traded Josh for Harden last fall.....<sigh>)

Teague had 6 TO's. Hard to win with your pg giving the ball away that many times. Hawks need a small forward in the worst way, especially on the defensive end.

That's true. Every fan base has those over the top homer fans though. Gotta learn to just deal with them regardless of what they say and debate with the more reasonable fans.
