What a game by Linsanity and Harden.

But i'm concerned about our PF position now. Dmo looks uncomfortable out there. Tjones isn't getting minute. Is TRob ready?

I think they'll need a practice or three to sort out pf rotation. If you see Royce in a Rockets uniform, then it's time to panic. Seriously though, of the top 10 power forward prospects drafted this year, we have four of them. One way or another, we'll be okay. We can always put Greg Smith at the 4. He can do it.

Its scary to me that our best "Power Forward" might very well be Carlos Delfino. I hope thats not the case....

One of those guys need to step up.

I thought TRob was overrated coming in, mainly cause I would see Sullinger beast on him and I never really saw TRob use all that athletic ability people spoke of...

I know he is a horrible shooter but he runs like a deer so that has got to be great for this team.

One of the most rewarding things about watching Jayhawk basketball is that the most obvious personal improvement comes in the form of team defense. That's the best thing Bill Self coaches.

And watching studs like Tyshawn Taylor and TRob not really improve as much as they could offensively while spending 3+ years in college really bugs me.

Sully and TRob did okay against one another in the NCAA semis last year. Here's a recap:

http://scores.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=320912305

He's actually got an okay set shot, although his release isn't super quick. He can finish with his left or his right. He likes to spin to his left too.

It has just occurred to me that sometimes Lin plays like Crash Wallace. If only the NBA allowed playing with helmets.

If anything, we might be able hide our power forward hole with lots and lots of running. Our PFs are very conscious of their short comings and are a bit afraid to fail.

Man oh man. Patterson gone, Harden getting revenge against his former team and setting a new career high in points, and the Rockets solidifying themselves as a playoff threat despite everyone else treating this as a rebuilding year?

Today is a very good day. 8-)

What a game! Yes, Durant had a triple double, but we took him out of the game on 31% fg (4-13) shooting and 5 TOs. There's really no words for Harden's performance. He is currently the #1 offensive SG in the league, over Kobe and Wade. His iso's are so much more effective now. Perhaps the most impressive play I saw Harden do was in the 3rd quarter, he was doing his iso thing, and with 4 seconds left, he actually passed it to Lin, who drove in for a 3 ft floater. This helps keep the defense honest instead of all converging on Harden at the end of the shot clock. Congrats to Harden and the rest of the team for helping him beat his former team.

Lin had one of his best games of the season. It was just incredible to watch all the array of plays he made, sharp passes, court vision, drives, jumpers, and of course, the pair of clutch 3's at the end of the game. He makes the game fun to watch for the fans, and fun to play for his teammates. He outplayed Westbrook, who had 7 to's.

Good job with the reverse jinx, TMACFORMVP!

Zubby wrote:Lin has a 3pt shot :o

Lin is now shooting an incredible 46.5% (20-43) from 3pt range since Jan 18! :o Maybe that's why Morey felt Douglas was expendable now.

That would be sweet.

inquisitive wrote:Boxscore says KD had only 15....did Parsons do that great of a job on him?

I think the Rockets doubled and helped on KD to take him out of the game, and it sure worked.

I think so. He just needs to get rebounds, play defense, and dunk the ball. He can polish his offensive game over time.

Just watched the end again. Almost just as good the second time around. Love this win. They showed so much heart! Gotta love that. How sweet it is! Oh and the Harden MVP chant was electric. When is the last time our crowd has done that?

I fill like taking credit for this win. I just going to say when I got into my car and started to listen to the radio Harden took over the game and then they won. So it was not Harden it was me!
