A new rumor is that Orlando has offered their roster minus Vučević, Harkless, and Nicholson for Rondo. And that the Celts are considering this offer.

Hmm.

If the goal is to lose games in 2014, then I do not agree.

..

The goal shouldn't be to lose... Ever. The gol should be to acquire and develop young players... That's why I'm saying y'all will be disappointed, because I don't see anything getting done because henny expects too much for jj. Not trading one of redick or afflalo will be a big mistake and I fully expect us to make that mistake and all you jj homers will be so happy until he spurns us in FA

Whatever. It's not supposed to be called tanking but that's what it is. Developing young players is EXACTLY what hennigan and Vaugh said the goal was this season during their press conferences.

If it's for a chance at a player like wiggins I hope they lose many many games next year, I don't give a **** what you want to call it. I'm not sure why you think hennigan is overrating jj. I don't think a first round pick is to much for redick and ill go ahead and trust our gm to get the best deal.

Think the source of that rumor is this article:

I think Minny and their fans love Shved, he wont be included in any trade.

this^^^

I would LOVE to get Rondo to Orlando. It might less us focus on Mclemore,Shabazz, and Noel and we wouldn't have to use a pick on Burke or smart.

Wow that article is a major fail. Redick, McRoberts and a future first for Rondo?? WTF.. Most likely we won't even get a 1st for Redick. Also this article states that resigning Jameer was a mistake, I disagree.

Now if Boston wants to give it one more shot with Garnett and Pierce, they could be interested. Jameer, Afflalo and Redick could be of interest to the Celtics. Besides that we could take on one of their bad contracts and we could send some future picks or picks that we obtained from the Dwight trade.. If I was Henny I'd go all in.

Harkless/Vucevic/Nicholson/Rondo and our pick this year and next year is a solid start. We would also have capspace for the summer of 2014.

Six hours to go and no news? I'm fine with even the dumbest stuff. It's all entertainment for me during this time anyways.

I'd be fine with not trading Redick, but I hope for some unheralded moves. Moving Harrington, Hedo or at least McBob would be sweet.

If they'll take a package centered around Nelson and Redick for Rondo we have to do it....

Makes sense for them and us.

Nelson/Nicholson/Redick/DEN pick for Rondo/Terry contract. Get her done, Otis!

Nik Vucevic, Kyle O'Quinn
Glen Davis, Nerlens Noel
Moe Harkless, Dequan Jones
Arron Afflalo, Jason Terry
Rajon Rondo, E'Twaun Moore

Biggest obstacle to that lineup (other than ACL risk) is forfeiting our ability to compete for Wiggins next year. That team is just too good. Rondo/Harkless is also a particularly poor-shooting pairing.

I am cautious about that site because it says Leandro Barbosa is available to handle PG duties for Boston but he has been out for over a week with a torn ACL

I would like Rondo as much as the next person especially if it means giving up some of the TPE to get him but I am sure Hennigan has a plan in store for it. Have not done the numbers but a trade of JJ, McBob, Ayon, and Philly's first round pick sounds fair to me

I could see their offer being something like Jordan Crawford and 2 seconds. You know, just to put their name in the hat. I don't see Washington winning out.

Rondo would also walk ALL OVER Jacque Vaughn. He'd eat Jacque for breakfast.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojYahooNBA
Orlando has secured offers of first-round picks for J.J. Redick, sources tell Y! Sports. So far, those belong to teams drafting in the 20's.

!!!!!!!!!

(guessing Spurs, Minnesota's MEM pick)
