J.J. Redick and his wife own an off-season home in Austin, and with chance to win, prospect of trade to Spurs is beyond appealing to him

Perrenial contender in warm Texas. Perrenial loser in Wisconsin. Tough choice.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

This thread is getting asinine.

JJ Redick is going to go to wherever he is traded to. Weather and where he owns a home plays no part in to where he will play out the rest of the season.

Yeah, you have to assume one of those "first round offers" for JJ is San Antonios 30th pick. And probably the Nets as they other, as they no doubt offered brooks and a 1st.

I feel embarrassed for the Nets. As soon as they traded last year's lotto pick for a 2nd half rental of Wallace, they sealed their fate that no GM would ever take them seriously again. They will be disrespected and lowballed for the duration of their current management.

I am further embarrassed for them that they try to link them self to every trade in the league, with Brooks and Kris Kardashian as their offer. Teams are just laughing at that offer.

Does us being less likely to deal for Redick mean we're probably not going to get Smith? I still hope we do a deal for Smith and don't give up a 1st for Redick.

The Magic are working on a 3-way trade, which would include J.J. Redick. Milwaukee is one of the teams.

Guys...I'm going to lock this one and let's go with the Smith thread.

When an actual deal is announced, then someone can start a new thread. It apparently though will be complicated.
