Now, like I said, if he walks the deal looks a lot worse.

Ellis should be Gooden'd now. He can't be allowed to play anything more than spot backup minutes.

This x1000.

The logic I've heard regarding Brooks (which I also agree with) is how he can't get off the bench on an average BKN team and is losing minutes to the likes of Stackhouse/Bogans.

The same applies to Harris. If he really was as good as everyone here wants to believe then he would've been getting some burn, somehow. Now Redick doesn't turn us in to a championship contender but the Bucks got the best player in the trade.

Yup.

For 28 games. If we wanted him that bad we could've got him during the offseason.

Sanders, Dalembert, Henson, Ersan, Udoh, Ayon, Przybilla, Gooden, LRMAM. Fine work. On a full roster, we have six players who aren't bigs.

This deal wasn't the worst (didn't have to give up a 1st, which I valued more than Harris), but it makes little sense without Ellis leaving. Unless they expect Monta to walk and to re-sign Redick. But even then, ehhh...

we traded Tobes, Lamb, and Udrih for a 6th man that will walk in the offseason if we don't give him $40 million dollars

you can't make this stuff up

That'll be the salt in the wound. Ellis will still start, and Redick will play 20 minutes a night off of the bench.

What'd you like most about Tobias Harris?

He was great on the bench. Not sure how good he is off the bench though cuz he never got up.

Yeah, too much fuss about this it seems. You guys could've given up a 2nd rounder in 2050 and been in the same angry mood cuz you gave up "assets".

LOL. You don't even know what you gave up!

Yeah it seems like this deal was meant to coordinate with the deal with the Hawks.

I like getting Redick. I don't necessarly love dealing with Harris. But I have no idea how a Redick/Ellis combo is going to work. Ellis will NOT take well to being a 6th man. I'm guessing he'll see more PG minutes.

No way, it almost certainly would've involved Ellis which is automatically a win. Redick + Smith - Ellis would've been a great day for us.

Smith in, but who the Hawks would have gotten is not right.

Why get Redick, but keep Ellis?

Monta better at least be the 6th man after this. If we bring Redick off the bench I will cry.

The real question is how much you like Harris and Lamb.

Lamb was pretty awful. Harris has a ton of offensive potential and is already a strong inside player. He should've been getting a lot more minutes with the Bucks than he received. I think the Magic are going to really love him if they give him a legitimate chance.

This trade will turn out to be amazingly more hilarious if Reddick bolts as a free agent and Ellis opts in for the last year of his contract.

I f'ing hate this team.

The sad part is that it doesn't get any better if Redick doesn't bolt and we pay him 4/40
