I dont know how you could look at this thread and think he's overrated. Elite TS% and he can pass the ball well and handle... that's pretty solid. If anything, Redick is criminally underrated because of tons of factors - race, height, Duke...

I still think Morrow makes more sense. Could have been had for much cheaper, and wouldn't need all the minutes that JJ will.

That being said, I am just happy the team looks different, and will be slightly more interesting way to finish out the season.

Just wish we didn't give up Tobes in the deal.

Heard it from a good source that the Bucks didn't include Monta in an offer for Smith because after multiple attempts, they couldn't figure out how to change all the Bucks logo's on Monta's bobblehead to Hawks in time for the give away on Saturday. True Story.

I don't think anyone is saying Redick isn't a good player, at least Im not. Its that the team has no vision.

It seems they make trades just to make them.

This is a new low for the Bucks.

There is no evidence supporting that the Hawks wanted Ellis and us not including him is what killed the deal. Stop posting this.

What evidence do you need more than all freaken week reports were the Hawks wanted Ellis in the deal?

Yup. Start him. Ellis and Dunleavy lead the bench squad.

It will be glorious if it doesn't though.

True, but will Redick like getting 10 MPG behind the worst player in the league?

Bucks might decide to play small.

No way J.J. Redick only plays 10 mins.

the answer on that roster swap?
Nah.

I am sad to see J.J. Redick go but The Magic were not going to pay two shooting guards.

The last time a good Buck headed into UFA we got him back on a great contract. But of course we're going to screw up this time or something.

I hope Monta opts out signs else where, Jennings signs an offer sheet we don't match, and Redick chooses not to re-sign. Pipe dream I know, but that is what I'm hoping for.

The Bucks will massively overpay to keep Redick.

It's how they roll.
The Magic knew someone would pay Redick more than them. It was a factor in the move.

I see a great fit between Jennings and Redick... Jennings can slash, Redick can shoot, and Redick is smart enough to take the ball from a PG who's jacking up a few too many at times (Jameer)

Its not the homerun swing in Smoove that was being reported, but its a step towards making the roster better. I really like your core actually, if Jennings and Redick re-up.

Jennings - Redick - Henson - Sanders

Pretty solid if you ask me

can't judge trade yet-
Tobe may prove he sucks on D
Lamb may prove game is too big
Beno likely to be decent

Reddick likely to continue to be efficient long range shooter & good passer
resigns for 4/30

THEN it is a good deal

I agree with upset that Ellis remains but
Ellis opts OUT - with cap savings from him & sam either
a) we sign great FA
b) we make great trade b/c we can absorb salary
Ellis opts IN - highly unlikely

Pussies.

The Bucks are lining up to try and pay three SGs.

That's how you do it if you wanna run with the big dogs.
Nothing will not break me.
