We lost a great person in JJ. He deserved to be on a contender though. I don't see him staying with the Bucks.
I don't want to go through this with Jameer though. We need to retire his jersey.

I do not understand why people are complaining.

2 expirings : Udrih(7 mil) + Warrick(4 million) = 12 mil saved from cap space. Moreover we won't be overpaying Redick.

We got a young SF(Tobias Harris) with rookie contract. He will have lots of time to show what he has. Same with Lamb. A lot better than a late 1st rounder in a weak draft. If they use their chances well, at least they will have some trade value for future movements.

I think it is a good deal.

idk...but im leaning to liking this alot. basically saves jj potential 7-9 mil a year for 4 years and getting an expiring udrih. harriss/lamb are still too green but id take them over ish/ayon any day

lol no tweets out of jj or his wife... they must be angry. So much for Henny keeping JJ in the loop. He probably found out from ESPN/yahoo/twitter like everybody else.

I pretty much agree with this. Though it still sucks to see JJ go. He has been the heart of this franchise for a while now.

The reason I know this was a good trade, because of the reactions of Bucks fans lol!

The Magic will hold a team option next season on Hakim Warrick for $4 million.

Holy crap. Milwaukee trashing Redick. Someone called him a scrub and he doesn't deserve 4 yr/40 mil. ... I agree he's not worth that money but to call him a scrub..wow.

I thought JJ stopped tweeting a couple of weeks ago when his name was hot in the rumors. I hope he didn't find out that way.

Why?

Because then suddenly 2014 become Wiggins, Parker, Harrison Twins, Noel, Randle, Noah Vonleh. I think the deeper next year's draft is, the easier it will be for Hennigan to have a clear direction for 2014.

I can't see JJ staying and dealing with Jennings me 1st attitude. Jj would have been perfect on the Pacers

It seems like the Magic were trying to keep cap space open. Warrick deal = puzzling, but it might be about being over salary floor in 13-14

There's something up with the Warrick deal. I hope someone in the media questions Hennigan when he briefs them about the deals.

They have a team option on Warrick after this season...

I think it might've been an internal problem with him. Probably was complaining about getting minutes, or he and the other players weren't getting along too well.

I'd prefer Noel stay in this draft and give us more options in this down draft. Next year's draft will take care of itself.

Henny is brilliant

Trades Dwight and JJ for, Vucevic, harkłess, afflalo, Harris, lamb, and multiple picks, plus drafts Smart

Next he will resign Dwight and JJ in the offseason

The Bucks board is an absolute hilarious read right now.

I like the deal. Redick was expendable. Dude is 28 and wants too much money. When you're rebuilding, young talented potential is always a good thing.

Net money on this deal was us taking more than we sent.

My thing is if Noel stays in this draft what happens if we win the lottery? Tough decision about drafting a guy with a bad knee who probably becomes a poor man's Camby. I just think we are unlucky enough to win the lottery in a year like this and then be stuck picking 4th next year.

I knew Hennigan wouldn't be dumb enough to hang onto Redick. Good on him for getting us something. We got a lot younger today.
