Reggie Rose can shut the **** up.

It's almost like he's the Anti-Derrick when it comes to stuff.

I think it's great, hopefully it puts more pressure on the Bulls and lights a fire under their ass.

And if Reggie is saying it, you can guarantee that a bunch of people around Rose probably feel the same way and that Rose has probably heard it too. This is a HUGE deal.

If Reggie knows what he is doing, then there must be a reason to say things against the Bulls who are his brother's employers. Maybe Derrick has told him about a trade or two which the Bulls didn't pull it off because of other reasons and he is upset about it or he is just trying to keep the pressure on GarPax because Derrick doesn't care to talk about all this stuff.

Reggie's stance is hardly unique.

Just about every Bulls fan I know feels the same way.

I'd be surprised if Derrick didn't know about these comments ahead of time. I think Reggie knows better than to do this spontaneously. These are a little bit of Derrick's words as well, and I think it's a good sign. The FO doesn't seem too eager to actually serious, and there's only one person who can get them moving; here we're getting closer to that,

Your chance to build a Miami type team was to tell your brother to do what they did. Take less money on your last contract.

Yeah, you have to be patient. We'd all like to put Derrick together with Kevin Love or another stud player, but there are two sides to every deal. You don't want to be the Knicks of days gone by and just do deals for the sake of doing deals. Look around the league. Besides the Robinson deal (which was just weird), it's not like there was stuff going down right and left. ATL didn't even move Smoothe.

WWWWWOOOOOWWWWWW

I think we know where all the Rose stuff was coming from. Also, we can definitively say that Bucher was talking to Reggie and leaking that information.

Man, get out your popcorn because it sure looks like the team is close to trouble with their #1 guy, or his people.

For the record, the Bulls FO is in the right. I'm certainly glad they didn't do something stupid like give up first round picks to get rid of Hamilton. They never had a chance to make an upgrade trade. They don't have the assets. Reggie apparently doesn't understand that or really anything at all from the words above and that's a bad thing.

Meh. I don't think the Bulls give two **** about what Reggie Rose thinks and he's saying the Bulls should get better players. Um, does anyone think the Bulls aren't trying to do that?

"It's frustrating to see my brother play his heart and soul out for the team and them not put anything around him," Reggie Rose said.

If I were a player in the Bulls locker room, I'd be PISSED if I read this in the papers. Yes, Derrick is a trooper, but whether it be Deng playing through his wrist injury, Noah playing through his ankle issues as well as issues with his foot, Kirk getting surgery to come back and gut it out for the rest of the season, and all the other players who is likely playing through injuries etc - Reggie needs to get his head out of his a$$ and open his eyes and stop acting like a naive wannabe hot shot.

Reggie Rose is a **** idiot, i just hope that Derrick will be own man, and he will not think that he owes something to his brother, who looks to me like he wants to use Derrick to be in the spotlight!
If Rose thinks the same, then i will start to dislike him a little!
Derrick a lot of people loves you because of the way you acted and man you are, so dont change that now, and become the guy like Lebron, Howard...

Also, does anyone find it funny that a guy who isn't in the NBA but is related to a NBA star is now qualified to say who is and isn't good enough? This isn't some former player like Pippen or even Kukoc saying this. This is the BROTHER of someone saying "the team needs to get better players".

If I was Reggie Rose, I'd certainly shut the **** up about the quality of players on the Bulls. Seeing as you're not qualified to give any critique. I cannot imagine Derrick would agree with this sentiment. If he does, then why was Derrick not recruiting two years ago?

i dont get what move the bulls are magically supposed to make. They tried in 2010. struck out and ended up with boozer and the original bench mob. The team then has the best record in the league 2 years in a row and d rose wins the mvp. Drose gets hurt in game 1 of playoffs they lose. The team plays real well this year while rose is out and then theres complaining about not making moves. Seems like alot of bi tching about nothing.

I get the need to improve the talent on the team, but theres 2 all stars on the roster and boozer has been alright since the new year. i just dont see why this would come out now. who does he want? Klove howard josh smith? theres not a superstar just sitting there ready to get traded to us and ready to sign long term.

It's not great at all because he threw the players on the team under the bus. How do you feel as a player reading that nonsense out of Reggie who is behind his desk, getting fat on Derrick money - when the players have been busting their tails all season, and placed themselves in as best position as their talents take them?

What he has done to go to the press, as well as what he said, is a direct slap to the players faces, as well as management who have coddled and given everything to Derrick and his family since he has been drafted by the Bulls.

+1. He just threw most of the team under the bus.

Honestly, this is one of the worst things I have ever read. Most of the negative stuff you read about players is rumors. Behind the scenes fights, disagreements, etc. This is an interview with direct quotes.

So piecing things together -

- If Reggie feels this way, Rose might feel this way
- maybe Derrick did want Boozer for Gasol last year.
- Reggie is obviously Bucher's source
- Rose is kind of getting spoiled by his inner circle, reminds me of the Lebron and Maverick Carter relationship

Will Rose grow so frustrated that one day he will leave the Bulls, like KG or Lbj?

I don't have any issues with how Reggie feels - he is Rose's manager and a father figure - he is entitled to his opinion. I just wish this could have been handled in a more private manner. Ahh well - it's out there now...
14 years is a nice run but it's time to end the Paxson era.
