Several months later, Henny is looking pretty good.

It's easy to say "WE SHOULDA GOTTEN THIS" But you have to learn what supply and demand is, Henny pretty much got a 1st and a 2nd for Redick. Harris is 20 **** years old and has a 15/7 per36 as a starter, calm the **** down guys, JJ was not going to stay which few of you seem to understand

General impression I got from everyone here is they're happy with the trade. LBJ is going back to Cleveland to play with Irving, IMO.

Why on earth would he do that? This rumor is about as credible as when everyone knew he was going to New York and then New Jersey. As long as Dan Gilbert is in charge, I don't think Lebron goes back to make him rich and win him a ring.

Hearing Orlando used Ryan Anderson TPE to obtain Warrick which would have expired before Magic could use it... Gain TPE from McRoberts

Ah that makes much more sense

Took a nap and missed this. That's clever. Nicely done, Hennigan.

I do not understand why so many people want to cut Harrington and Turkoglu after this season (and pay just $3.6M and $6M next season)

Remember that the minimum a team must spend on their players' collective salaries is around $50M.

You cannot reach this amount just with rookie contracts (+jameer, arron and bbd).

It is a good idea to spend big money on bad players (like turk - because he won't get you wins) to get no1 or 2 pick in 2014.

Salary cap floor will be 90% of the salary cap next season. So floor will be around 54 million.

Minimum team salary

• 2005 CBA: Teams must spend at least 75 percent of the salary cap.

• 2011 CBA: Teams must spend at least 85 percent of the cap in 2011-12 and 2012-13, and at least 90 percent of the cap in later years of the agreement.

• Who benefits? The players. Although it was once rare for teams to be below the salary cap, it became more common in the latter years of the 2005 agreement as teams struggled to cope with financial markets. For example, the Sacramento Kings traded for Marquis Daniels at the 2011 trade deadline because their payroll was below the 75 percent minimum. By raising the salary floor, teams are required to spend more money on player salaries.

The higher salary floor could also affect teams' amnesty decisions. Teams might decide to hang on to high-salaried players rather than amnesty them in order to meet the new minimum team salary requirements.

This is when it's going to get really tough to watch these games. JJ was our best playmaker. We were already bad with him; it's going to get brutally ugly for the next year and a half.

I like this deal for the Magic. We trade away a solid player in JJ, who likely would ask for too much capital. We get back some young pieces in Harris and Lamb who can contribute in the team's rebuilding process and be potential good assets as well.

#Magic trade of Josh McRoberts for Hakim Warrick and an undisclosed amount of cash is finalized with #Bobcats. Warrick could be waived.

RT @sheimans: apparently it only takes 8 months to de-Otis a franchise ---> I gonna use that line, where do I send the check.
Everyone should use that line its perfect
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

I'm not a fan of Harris' game so I'm not excited from that point. I'm just excited that we have a front office that doesn't let assets walk away. I'm also excited for the chance of landing Wiggins.

Hopefully Harris surprises me (not that I think he's awful, just not a difference maker). I still am for the trade though. It is nice to be free of the disease known as Otis.

We also received an undisclosed amount of cash in the Mcroberts deal.

Any interesting PF or C in the D-league, apparently Warrick will be waived, Harrignton and Baby injured and Hedo suspended leaves us with a frontcourt of Nicholson, Vucevic, O`quinn, Harris?

Some options are Hassan Whiteside and Tim Ohlbretch.
Smart / Micic / D. Wright
Wiggins / Exum / J. Adams
Parker / K. Anderson / Mcdermott
Randle / Vonleh / Stokes
Embiid / Nurkic/ Tavares

Henny and his crew are not messing around. They know what the hell they're doing.
