For sure. Hopefully Jameer's fine and Beno is the backup. Then Lamb and Moore can handle the back up 2 spot.

Getting Tobias Harris is like getting a draft pick.

You'll be happy you have Harris instead of our draft pick from this trade once you see him play. He was a top 10 lock in this upcoming draft if he stayed in school, IMO.

He's going to have several 20+ point games for you guys during the rest of the season if you give him minutes.

Doron Lamb has a fetish for weird socks... has a "socks of the day" thing going...

I hope you are right. I would like to see a game winning shot over Dwight Howard from Tobias when we play LAL

Loved Lamb in college and in the draft, don't know much about Harris. Couldn't stand Ayon or Ish.

But, really sad to see JJ go. Hes probably my favorite player in the NBA right now and I guy that any team would want around, regardless of their situation.

Well all we have is Beno as a legit PG on the team as of now with Meer out.

Al Harrington is due back next week to fix our PF/C problems. Remember, we are tanking.

Kinda sad to see Warrick getting waived immediately...he is exactly the kind of player we want right now: kinda fun to watch, but doesn't really help you win.

Excited to see what we can pull out of the D-League though.

What rumor? I just thought of it during AS break watching irving play.

It was on the Wiretap like 3 weeks ago.

Man, there is an official Tobias Harris Watch Thread created on the Bucks board to keep track of Tobias while on the Magic. I thought this was interesting:

Harris has played 25 minutes or more in five games in his brief career. In those five games he's averaged 16.2 ppg while shooting 50% or better in every game.

That makes me feel guilty we have a farewell thread and not a watch thread for Redick...

These highlight reels can be deceiving. But the guy seems to have sound offensive skills.

I'll be keeping track of that thread, just like im keeping track of this Vucevic thread from another forum. The thread is titled "Keeping Track of Vucevic"

It's fun to follow. http://forums.philly.com/discussions/Si ... v=messages

Those posters keep the thread active.

Latest post.

Hennigan should get some benefit of the doubt. look how well he and his staff did finding Vucevic/Nicholson/O'Quinn/Harkless. Everyone should read John Dentons article here http://www.nba.com/magic/news/denton-re ... r-goodbyes

It outlines the plan, accumulate young assets and talent for another year, hope to hit jackpot in 14' draft, then spend money or make trades. This is what Houston did and they eventually got their superstar via trade, but also have a bunch of quality young players on good deals AND Cap room

obviously nobody with a top 20 pick wanted to dance with it, Harris was a top 20 pick and now he'll get a chance to play, also draft night, with our TPE's we will have opportunities to make deals. add a top 3 pick this year and next to our talent base and it wont be long til we're good again
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Blahh, Loved JJ, he was just an awesome player to root for.

I understand the situation and that he was probably not going to resign here so Hennigan had to make a move (for the better.)

Only thing I fear is these prospects we picked up (Lamb and Harris) turn out to be useless for us. It would be really nice if we found a superstar in our mix right now.

Although tanking has its perks, it'd be nice to win some games :/
